One of my all time favorite designs, probably on par in terms of beauty with my other favorite, the Spartan Executive. This would have been quite the attack aircraft had it been able to serve in WW2.

That fuselage is amazingly slim. It's like the largest engines and the biggest wings you can hang on the smallest airframe.

The prettiest Grumman! That knife-like fuselage cross-section though. Its hardly even there!

I imagine it would have ridden turbulence well with that wing loading of over 56 pounds per square foot.

Beautiful work, as always. Do you mind if I use a bit of the clip in a review I'm doing of the aircraft? No longer than 5 seconds in length, and I'd of course give you the credit you deserve.

Didn't this Tigercat used to be owned by the Historical Flight Foundation in Everett, WA? I remember hearing a few years ago that HFF sold their F7F to a new owner somewhere in California.

Erik Weseman I don’t think this is that one, this one is owned by Rod Lewis and is based in Texas.

No, this was the one from the Kalamazoo Air Zoo in Michigan. I used to run firebottle and pull chocks on her when I was a kid.

Uno de los últimos aviones de combate bimotores !!! Lograda y refinada aeronáutica , llegó al final de la segunda guerra mundial .
