It’s that big battery that makes this mini moto so heavy.
@StuartGrand3 ай бұрын
Hopefully we can get lightweight battery cells in the future. That'd be a game changer for all these types of vehicles

I just dont get the point of this thing. When I could just get a honda navi for half the price: the navi can carry 2, has storage, slightly faster, and has way more range.
@StuartGrand Жыл бұрын
I hear ya. A lot of these higher powered ebikes/emoto's are not on price parity with gas competitors and that is a reason why I haven't bought something in this class of PEV's yet. The only advantages of the pro would be not having to register/pay insurance, not having to pay for gas, lower maintenance.

It’s electric, and no registration

Honda Navis 1500?
@StuartGrand Жыл бұрын
2023 Honda Navi listed at $1807 before tax and any other fees, so more than half the price of the roadrunner pro. I think thats a decent price but then you have gas and insurance

@@StuartGrand oh nice didn't realize they were that cheap. altho i guess the points going for the RR is that you can take it on sidewalks/park trails without getting the cops called on you

i test drove the roadrunner pro there. and i think its stupid that you can only drive it on the parking lot with a bunch of vehicles with people crossing here/there and i know speed limit on parking lot is 10mph....actually better to ride it on the straight rode just outside of that parking lot. but i think their reason is they don't want you to go fast on it i.e passing class 2 speeds of ebike legality and on public roads. maybe dumb riders in the past tests

Yeah I bet they don't want to be held liable for any traffic accidents. I def wish I was able to open up the throttle on the street too.
