Damn I use an Enderwire too but did not know that I could print that fast, my highest value is 150mm/s for the infill but I just let the test_Speed Macro run and found out that Even 400mm/s are not causing step loss. Maybe I have to try to Print at higher speeds😅

This is the best way of how to make your bedslinger printer worse for a lot of money. 😀

I was inspired to do a switchwire conversion on my Ender 3 Pro when I saw this video quite a few months back. I've put linear rails on my X & Y Axis.. but for some reason I'm getting layer shift, and I have to reduce my speeds dramatically compared to the old wheels.. How did you overcome this issue on the Y Axis especially? My bed feels quite stiff with the 2 rails on the Y axis? Thanks! :)

If you haven't already, I would tune the stepper drivers.

The trick was stealthchop I had to remove it

Many people have faced this problem. Yes, using two rails instead of one increases drag on the bed. Make sure you have properly lubed the rails, belt is in proper tension and set the current for y-axis motor a bit high ( just enough so that it doesn't get too much hot). These are the common factors I would look fisrt.

wow klicky!! where do I find this file? also would you share your slicer profile with me please? I can't seem to find anything on how to set up the profile for the ender to sw conversion. I have both cura and prusa slicer

Actually i am using Quickdraw by hymness1. I am sharing the respective links: Quickdraw: github.com/hymness1/Quickdraw_VSW Klicky(Voron Switchwire): github.com/jlas1/Klicky-Probe/tree/main/Printers/Voron/Switchwire Slicer profile(super slicer): github.com/Kruze17/HN_Switchwire/tree/main/Slicer%20configs

Just wondering, why didn't you go for stealth burner instead?
@HyperMakes Жыл бұрын
It was in beta testing when i was building my switchwire. And ABBN 30 is what StealthBurner is now. There should be no difference in part cooling performance. Also, anything that is in beta testing should be avoided, as multiple iterations of changes happen during that testing phase of the product or design.

How much tension is on your Y belt?

Finger plucking tight. I used feeling to tension the belts.

Can you provide the config for the quickdraw probe. I want to do the same with my switchwire ❤

Please do not forget to change the global variables according to your printer. Here is the link: github.com/Kruze17/HN_Switchwire/blob/main/configs/dock_macros.cfg

It is an Ender 3 Pro converted to switchwire.

@@HyperMakes can this be Done to normal ender 3? Really like your videos? Is it worth to convert? Is printing faster?
@HyperMakes Жыл бұрын
@@feid93 Yes. It can be done for normal ender 3 also. There are mods for normal ender 3 which comes with a 2020 profile y-axis. It is worth the conversion if you want to print faster while getting similar quality prints printed at traditional printing speed.
Damn, does it? My printer uses the Creality 4.2.2 mainboard( Non-silent version). Can you mention the time-stamp where it sounds like that? I wanna listen that. 😂
