I just bought the vortex Razor, the higher end model. I would suggest looking thru your buddies’ vortex early morning or dusk. Low light is where you are going to see the difference. Both my wife and I were able to tell the difference in store when looking at details. That being said, it’s not necessary unless you are trophy hunting and counting points.

Good review -- you show the images through the scope. Some other reviews don't show those, which don't make any sense. It'd be better if you had given the distance and magnifying power for every image.

Would it help if I made a video of different distances ? I can do that with no problem. I actually know where a huge herd of elk are right now! I can even try to get the camera to see inside the range finder. Anyways please let know

Or, if you don't have the distances for this video, you can make a new one with the images through the scope, the distances, and the magnifying powers, and replace this one with the new one. 😁

So In this video I had the spotting scope on 20 power. The elk and deer videos start at 500 yards . The big group of elk where around 700 to 900 yards Away. Some are at 1,000 yards. I watched a group of deer at 1,700 yards away and I could tell that there was 3 branched bucks in a group of does. I could count how many points they had though.

They are on sale for 449 on Cabela’s website. However, they are still 499 in store. The price is for 20-60X80 (80mm not 60mm). I just ordered one. The guy in store was trying to ask me to buy the Cabela’s digital one for a 300s but I feel this one present a better image after trying it out in the store.

Wow these are pretty clear for 500-1000 yards, would you recommend the 60 objective over the 80 for a lighter weight backpacking scope or just stick with the 80?

I went with 80 over the 60 because I like the light that it picks up. I’m sure the 60 is just as good and probably a little lighter but no by much

No I use it at 50 and 100 when I’m sighting in my rifles. It makes it even easier when you at Phoneskope to it

It does the job. I was just watching deer at 1675 the other night and could tell that there was a buck in the group
