When I went on it they did two runs cause it’s short but I agree need another coaster but it’s expensive to build and I don’t think this park has enough to invest in one been here couple times and nothing new been to the park in years

I ride the vortex 12 times in a summer and Honestly I think it’s a pretty smooth ride because of the new soft restraints but You will get head banging If you don’t keep your head forward especially if your short

The same coaster exist here in Brazil. You should visit the amusement parks of Brazil - Hopi Hari, Beto Carrero World, Beach Park, Wet'n Wild, Thermas dos Laranjais, Mirabilandia, Nicolandia, etc - they're awesome and deserve a visit

For anyone saying it’s short and looks lame when it’s not that busy they do two runs and the corkscrews got some Gs to them video doesn’t show it justice very well. Park needs to invest in another coaster though just my opinion

What is your thought/ review of this park? I live in calgary and even for a small park im disappointed. The coaster has been here like 20+ years, and its pretty small. Besides a decent log flume ride, there is nothing to do for teens/adults in this park.

merf64 I'm pretty sure the reason they haven't added a new roller coaster is because there is an airport beside them and it limits them to what they can add. But I don't think that should be a problem for expanding and adding more flat rides

The airport is on the other side of the city, and they have tons of acres to put in coasters/flat rides. They are just cheap, havn't added anything significant pretty much since opening day.
