Are you the only one that has done this as far as you know? I can’t find any similar designs. I love it, I am making a pizza/bread oven and I would like to try and achieve this vortex pattern within the oven by doing a double barrel roof so the flame hits the ceiling (similar to your wedge) and divides into two and exits through two downward exhaust ports. Most pizza ovens exhaust up, but I’d like to exit down to further cool the exhaust. Great stuff. Another 🇺🇸 here lol thanks for the f°

I have developed my J tube and it is a 6” system with secondary air and all insulating materials. The tiny vortex is still being developed and is only a 4” system. A 6” vortex stove is much more powerful than a 6” J tube.

If you go back through my channel there are lots of videos about building and testing the stove, dimension are about two weeks back.

This was a few months back so I can only guess at around 8” there is always a minimum distance but rarely a max distance.

very good. How much is the distance from top of riser to top of barrel? I may have same problem as you had last time.
