Listening to you talk about short wave radio gave me a lot of insight into the importance of broadcasts. Ive grown up around advance technology so I just assumed if its old then its obsolete but that's not case. Thanks for opening my eyes ^^

Another VORW for your listening pleasure, the next VORW will tend to all letters primarily, with a few other topics discussed of course.

It’s incredibly important to let a creator you enjoy know that you enjoy their content. It can be that necessary nudge to let them know they are making a positive difference and it could be the reason why they continue to do what they do. I hope that Shortwave can continue for many many years to come and I really hope that your channel and broadcast continues that way as well :)

I listen to these at night and usually fall asleep to them. sometime around 2am I woke up and got to listen to the part where you talked about the creep outside your house. I didn't back to sleep for a while. same thing happened with the VORW episode where you talked about your nightmare. The night walk segments are my favorite and the ambient road noises are so neat. Keep safe out there though and if there are idiots in the woods getting high maybe take a different route.

You're amazing man! I love most parts of your VORWs but the night walks are by far my favorite, so relaxing plus I'd rather listen to you speak your mind rather than listen to a KZbin audience's thoughts and questions by a lot. And two night walks and no mailbag?! A dream program!!

Lmao @ 0:17. 🤣 Well that sure sums up how the show is going to be then. 😂 “I think this show is another piecemeal mess!... And that’s what I think of it... You won’t able to tell cause of the editing but as I see it, I see it as a mess”. 🤣
@lorla852 жыл бұрын
It was still a rather quite enjoyable “mess” then… 😂 I never had to edit much at all, but I can imagine it can get a little crazy! 😳😂😂😂

I still don't understand this channel, but I like it. And whenever you introduce your channel, it reminds me of old fashioned radio hosts.

And when I say, "don't understand", I'm just new is all.

+Henry Buehler That's fine, the basics of the channel are that I do legitimate food and drink reviews with some humor added, I wear a suit and tie every day (even when I'm not filming) because I simply enjoy wearing them, and the VORW programs serve as me talking about anything not review related. Feel free to listen, you can learn a lot about the channel from these shows, or you can play it in the background and use it as a sleep aid, which a lot of people seem to do. That doesn't bother me, if it helps you get to sleep, embrace it.

Thanks for the response. I definitely enjoy your voice and appreciate well thought out reviews of this length. Keep up the great work!

That was a crazy story that you told, very suspenseful and thank you for sharing it with us all! Always enjoy listening to your VORW shows ever since I started watching your content. I would of done the same thing you did with calling the police and informing my family members of the reoccurring nights that it happened. If possible being able to record the person for some other evidence to help with the police finding them easier.
@ricochet1888 жыл бұрын
That guy absolutely had ulterior motives. That's not paranoia at all. I'd have likely done the exact same thing as you. Let him know you're on to him. Except I would have carried a bat or something and if I was feeling particularly bold I'd start walking to ward him with a phone in my hand implying I was either filming him or calling the police. And in response to writing in about shows you like. This is something I think about every now and then but still don't act upon as often as it's convenient. This is actually the first of your show's I've listened to, only discovered you yesterday even though I heard about your videos probably a year ago haha. My friend was telling me there's a guy on youtube who does professional reviews of ordinary food with is super weird and original and oddly enjoyable to watch. I often go on night walks as well, and though I love the night, I prefer to be awake with the rest of the world at least most of the time. Bed time for me is around 1 to 2 am. But I might download these shows off of youtube and listen to them as a podcast sort of thing and walk about myself. I know smoking is the worst thing in the world but it's super nice to just walk about the empty streets with a cigarette in hand and podcast in the ear. Keep it up!

If it's not too much trouble I think it'd be interesting and beneficial to your cause to go through shortwave frequencies and stop on numbers stations or just odd broadcasts. That was what drew me into shortwave in the first place and while I wouldn't consider myself a fanatic of it or regular enthusiast I do believe in it being vital in parts of the world as well as just being interesting in general.

Just starting the program up, but the edited together VORWs are perfectly good Sitting down to record a couple hours or more of content straight seems really difficult/time consuming, so if this method means you can make more podcasts, thats great :)

When I lived with my parents there was a time where a guy in a suv would be right outside our house every morning around 6:30. My mom finally confronted him and actual took pictures of his plates. My mom said he was like Russian and didn't speak English. She said he was on a laptop so he probably was haking wifi signals in the neighborhood. Make sure your wifi has a code.
@QualityContentComingSoon6 жыл бұрын
Russian spies use laptops to send messages, but he likely was communicating with another russian sleeper agent in the neighbourhood on a private wifi network. Check en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegals_Program. They wouldn't sit outside a house to hack into your network.
