Tightens opposite to a normal screw. (Anticlockwise) A tiny adjustment and its fixed. Even my rusty multigrips didnt damage the screw. It just held it snug in a vice, no damage - easy fix. Although I do have a new one ordered anyway.

You're welcome. I hope it worked for you. The blade has been working well for me since the repair. I haven't had the need to sharpen them at all in the time I've owned the TM31. I've had the unit for about 10 years, but it's not used often. If you want to try to sharpen the blades maybe try using a honing stone, similar to what is used to sharpen a workshop chisel used for woodworking.

The blade has functioned perfectly since I repaired it, when I made the video. However, I have used it occasionally since the repair. If the blade comes loose again you can simply tighten up the nut again. Try to tighten the nut as tight as you can without overtightening it. Sorry I can't be more specific about this.

Awesome! My blade is still working 2.5 years now, so hopefully yours will last at least as long. I think you can keep using the same method to fix it, in case it happens again.
