Disregarding feats, scaling, and all vs debating crap, I feel like when it comes down to it, in terms of character role, Tom wins. Both are characters who constantly and stubbornly hunt for their targets. Despite failing almost every time. But they both fail in completely different ways. Wile. E Coyote is a character who fails due to his horrid luck, and general incompetence. None of his traps works because they’re either faulty, or just fail in a ridiculously unlucky way. The best way to represent this? Imagine herplaces dynamite down on Roadrunner, it probably doesn’t do anything until after Roadrunner escapes and Wile.E’s near it. For Tom, he loses simply due to his foolish tunnel-vision. None of his plans really fail, though they tend to be quite overly extreme. It’s just that Jerry’s much more aggressive and straight up counters Tom. When he throws some dynamite down on Jerry, the mouse probably grabs a tennis racket and knocks it back to him. You see the difference? Wile.E fails because nothing he does ever works properly. Granted there are exceptions, but those are merely exceptions. Him failing at everything he does is his gag. Tom, on the other hand isn’t incompetent. His gag isn’t necessarily that he sucks at everything, but rather that Jerry is always one step ahead of him. Like Wile.E, there are exceptions to this. But that’s the general premise of both these characters. With that in mind, in order for Wile.E to win in this theoretical simplified scenario, he’d have to be able to one up Tom, or be able to trick him. And while he probably could do the second one, actually following that up is the difficulty. And I don’t think he can. Not with Tom actively fighting back and much more competently too.

There are more ways for Wile to actually win. First off, Tom has actually die in some of his cartoons (the one where he exploded with fireworks, getting chopped of the head, there’s also been stated that he actually has nine lives. And if he dies way too many times he might actually be finished. (Now since there hasn’t been any consistency when it comes down to Tom’s durability, the cartoon I mentioned where he lost his lives by getting hit way too many times in the head while he had endured far worse in the past) while Wile hasn’t show any sign of dying in his cartoon (there was even one where he turned into a constellation and kept attacking the Roadrunner, although Tom and Jerry did that too.) Also in the Tiny Toons Reboot, where he works as a teacher at ACME Loonversity, he learned how to properly killed a Toon by making anti-looney dna (it basically altered the DNA of a toon and making them vulnerable to damage…yeah it’s basically the DIP) If he were to use that against Tom, it could make him vulnerable enough for Wile to end him up in one hit. And while Wile is monstrously unlucky he is still relatively more intelligent and strategists than Tom where has the latter isn’t exactly an idiot but still naive enough to get tricked and while not all Wile plan worked, there has still some instances where his plans and gadget, such as in the Space Jam Movies or even some comics. But I do think in the end, yeah it will comes down on how Death Battle treats Wile’s bad luck.

I’d say Tom wins this. While Wile E. Might be theoretically smarter, he relies on faulty toonforce-based technology to do what Tom can accomplish with his own toonforce alone. While Wile E. Had some combat experience in later continuations of the show, Tom has the edge in experience, having apparently been around during Roman times, and futuristic ages, though that usually doesn’t remain consistent, hardly anything else in Tom and Jerry does, either.

I think this will result in a draw not just because of what I saw in Scooby vs Courage, but because of their characters, both of them are pretty much co dependent on there adversaries. No matter what they do they can never kill there respective foes, but neither can they do the same to them, they’ll just walk it off and try again. What can happen when you put two characters who can neither win or die against each other?

This is going to be very hard for me when this airs next season. Wile E. Coyote is my favorite Looney Toon ever while Tom and Jerry my favorite cartoon show ever with Tom my favorite. It will be interesting if they can find a reason for the other to win. I know that Wile has the knowledge to make anti-looney dna, but will it work or even backfire against him at the same time?

I'm betting Tom because Wile E's luck HAS to be a factor. And given how it always keeps him from a win, I imagine maybe he hits Tom with the Anti-Looney stuff, but not all of it, some chase happens, maybe Tom gets a serious wound, and before Wile E can finish it, a Trap he set up earlier, probably a Boulder, given his luck with Rocks, probably hits him, Splashing himself with the Anti-Looney DNA, and causing Tom to laugh (which I heard cures it for the infected, but don't quote me on that) and Tom goes for the Finishing Blow

At first they are satisfied, but then Wile holds up a sign saying “What now?” Tom shrugs, then they decide to resume their brawl becoming each other’s new enemies. The fight ends in a draw.

Unlikely. scoob and courage couldn't kill eachother cause they got counters to eachothers win cons. Tom and wilie can kill eachother since if they can't kill eachother neither have a solution to the other one's bfr win cons iirc. Plus to my knowlidge both died a number of times. Ngl but I feel like Hiccup and Toothless would most probably win, because Baymax’s armour was broken when a piece of the broken building smashed into it during the time they entered the portal, and Toothless’ plasma shots would definitely be enough at least over a repeated amount of times to break it, and also, Hiccup with Hiro, 1v1, Hiccup would easily win, Hiro alone virtually has zero fighting experience reliant on himself, and so if Baymax is to be rendered useless, it’s over, and I can’t really see Baymax being able to kill Toothless either, since Toothless, despite probably not being as strong, is far to fast and versatile for Hiro and Baymax to hit or shoot, and Toothless’ ability to use his plasma shots to go invisible and use the weather to explode electricity, is basically going to give them an edge, Hiccup and Toothless take the win in experience, and have fought against villains and creatures Hiro and Baymax would need heavy training and upgrading to even have a chance against. Overall, this matchup isn’t actually that fair, since Hiccup and Toothless have far more stuff to talk about and even comparing the first HTTYD to BH6 already gives Hiccup and Toothless more experience, and like, they NEED to face danger daily, compared to Hiro and Baymax which was a one time thing. One major point is that Hiro and Baymax had a team, where with Hiccup and Toothless, they’ve done stuff primarily on their on or atleast in many cases did most of the heavy work, Hiccup is far more calculated than Hiro in terms of fighting and creating stuff from scratch, where Hiro (from what I can gather) relied on a computer software to create things which respectfully still requires brain power obviously, just not really as much compared to what Hiccup and Toothless have done, they could have a chance of winning, but it wouldn’t be easy, since Hiccup and Toothless work together far more significantly, Hiccup would also have tools alongside him too, Hiro would have nothing, and only would be able to pilot Baymax with no actual personal benefit himself that would give him any edge to win . Sorry for the long reply, I just wanted to say all this so it is apparent how this isn’t really that fair, or who would win, but it may happen some other time idk

It's leaning to be a reality for Next Season's Death Battle. And it could be justice for the Coyote vs ACME Movie that got shelved. Think of it. Wile E has lost to Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, and on ONE time, Speedy Gonzalez & Calamity Coyote. He's been trampled, splatted, flattened, exploded, stretched, skewered, smashed, and frightened. And all within the Arizona Desert. But on two occasions, he FINALLY caught the Road Runner. ONE, being cornered on a ledge, only for gravity to fool him, and the other, capturing a KING SIZE Road Runner, only to realize that it's not fair. (Plus, he shrunk through the pipes, and the Road Runner was normal size). On the other hand, Tom Cat has lost to Jerry Mouse, but that's not all. He's lost to Butch, Mammy Two-Shoes, a robot cat, a giant hawk (whom he married), Spike & Tyke, a midget Bulldog, a horde of dogs, a shark, a hen, a duck, a duckling, a lion, TWO elephants painted as Giant Jerry Mouse, even a baby and the babysitter (and one time, he and Jerry were wrongfully arrested, saving the same baby). And unlike Wile E., he was kicked out of homes, sent to the brig, skinned alive, beaten to a pulp, pound to pieces, forced to fix up a spaceship after he celebrated wildly, and other acts of defeat. Yet Tom did get his retribution on Jerry, on a few occasions. And he even surrendered a million dollars, in order to be happy with Jerry. And even in Italy, he and Jerry were saved by a fellow mouse from three vicious dogs. And even once in Thanksgiving, he and the mice ended in a truce, only for Tuffy to devour the feast. And even gave Jerry his comeuppance, a couple times. But I think it's best the experts explain their victories and defeats, once it wins the Champions Tournament.
