Despite the couple of comments here, I found the Vicar Of Dibley to be brilliant. Each character had me in hysterics and I especially loved the part at the end of each episode when the vicar tells a joke to her verger. Yes, brilliant 👌 👏

Dawn French is palatable, that's about it. Comedy great ? no way....not when you have Yes Prime Minister and the likes to choice from. Dibley's audience figures were never that good.
