We need to see if the parts are in fact interchangeable with the Conquest and the other reel is simply too unique to not get and show to your viewers. i know not the topic of this video, but if you were building a combo to cast the lightest lures possibly would you pick the kuying teton orvllos plume? also aldebaran or cormorant? thank you! ps. long time follower and love your content!

Yes please, help me with this expensive obsession. Can you do a cast-off and show that it doesn't cast farther than allow profile? When you are doing your cast-off, maybe you can count the numbers of revolution of the handle to gauge distance. It's not perfect but it quick and makes distance measurements a bit more objective. Thanks for the great videos!

I've been waiting a long time to see and purchase the ANLAN reel, so I am going to have to pick that one. I saw last night on Aliexpress that Lizard has released an all carbon fiber round reel for $69 which is the cheapest round reel I have seen so far. Unfortunately it is only in left hand so I have to wait to try it out.

Abu garcia has been making ambassaduer reels for a very long time 😂 and have been sold in the US market till this day. That's a round reel line that's very popular. Just because they aren't bfs and not common in bass or panfish fishing doesn't mean they haven't still be popular. They are very popular in big game fishing, catfishing, carp fishing and even saltwater fishing lol. They've also been pretty popular round reels in Asia for years including Penn, shimano, some chinese brands and abu garcia. I'm like you though I prefer a low profile reel but....do still have and will use my ambassaduer line up for catfish or other big game fish. There's not many low profiles that can take the punishment those reels can take and mine have been used for decades, still preform like they did straight out the box.

But that's not true they stayed very popular with other various species fishing. And there is actually still a large group of bass fisherman that use round reels. Big swimbait guys fir example use round reels as budget reels because they are way cheaper than a equivalent size low profile reel lol. On ig you'll see alot of people still using round reels. It's not they went almost obsolete its bass fishing gained the spotlight and certain techniques within bass fishing where most use a low profile 80 to a 150 size reel and now bfs is hitting the scene where the low profile, super light weight, " the smaller the better" is being pushed. Asians have used round reels the hole time though and so has a large community of US fisherman not to mention Europe and saltwater fisherman as well. There's still a large group of fisherman that use zebco 33 reels lol. It's just not what you see most companies or social media pushing. I belong to about 100 fishing groups and I'm on four social media platforms dealing with only fishing content so I see it all still lol. I do have more time on my hands being disabled to spend time seeing and watching what's out in the world of fishing than most do though. Have a good one and keep up the reviews bud
