You can set the watch to stay "unlocked" while you're wearing it. So you only have to put in your PIN/pattern when you first put you watch on, at the start of your day. Or whenever you take it off and put it back on. At least I can do that on my Fossil Gen 6 Android Wear watch.

seriously. Samsung had a chance to buy Android, that would be an amazing timeline to live in. It is so much more beneficial to Google to just surrender to Samsung. Collaborate with Samsung to create the ecosystem consisting of Google Products. Considering Samsung has partnership with Microsoft as well, it would be so nice to have it all work together. nonetheless, Samsung still did manage to create a nice ecosystem anyways. but Google should just let Samsung handle it. and focus on it's services to integrate, like Assistant, Maps, Search, AI, Cameras, etc Imagine Samsung Camera hardware with Google Camera Software.

@@MarcSpctrI’m just gonna correct this as someone who works for an agency that works with Google on certain products. Android going to Samsung would not be good. As without android Chromebooks won’t be around, so windows and Mac will have no incentive to make more competitive devices. Same for Samsung having a monopoly won’t help. Google also gives android to these oem for free. If Samsung owns it costs of phones will go up by about £100/dollars as Samsung would charge for access to android. That will affect pricing on iOS too to go up and lower end devices increase and budget becomes more expensive too. Whole reason android is buggy in Google is as they’re focused on Ai more then software currently. Also most products Google use get supported longer then the rest and are built to last longer and do get developed on as they age.

Its not perfect, but it is MUCH better than her Versa 2 and Galaxy watch 4. Those watches would basically never catch spikes and were pretty inaccurate when they did. The Pixel 2 watch catches sudden spikes and is either pretty close, or margin of error level spot on when compared to an actual medical heart rate device. Other watches are like 20-40 bpm off and take way too long to finally catch up and detect. TL;DR, if youre looking for a watch with very good heart rate detection, this is a very good candidate. A whole 1 day of battery life?...barely? Hard pass. I wanted a watch but didn't want something ELSE to charge constantly...got a Garmin Instinct 2 Tactical Solar. I charge it literally once every nearly THREE WEEKS...a charge lasts me 19-20 days and, if I were outside more, I wouldn't even have to charge it at all. It's friggin EPIC!!

Screen protectors, I learn to use that for everything. I would've scratched my Sense to hell and back if I hadn't used a screen protector for it. I just bought this so there's no way in hell I'm going to ruin it by not protecting it. I was able to also score it for 235 brand new so I'm happy with that price :)

wtf is SOC? would it really be that hard to put the meaning of the abbreviation instead of assuming everyone is into the industry or is a native speaker and should know? Really unfriendly tbh.

Would've been nice to see you, you know, actually using the watch.

The factory reset to reconnect was something I ran into with my Tic Watch. It's clearly a stupid problem with android wear.

Realllly wanted a bigger screen on the PW2. Probably not going to upgrade from my 1 unless my battery life gets worse than it is.

Have you tried buffing out the scuff? If it's not too deep you might be able to bring it back to pretty much new

My Pixel Watch 2 is scuffed after less than a week. I have no idea how.. I have been wearing long sleeves and it's been covered but somehow its got multiple scratches on it...
@LCJammer Жыл бұрын
buy a tpu case for it. watches are usually the first thing to scuff without you noticing it.

There's no way I could have one of those with that bubble screen; it would be destroyed within a week. I'll just keep rocking my Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic; I had the Watch4 Classic for 2 years and it still looked new when I traded it in. I only upgraded because I wanted to get one with LTE, but while the Watch4 was great the Watch6 is awesome.

amazon has tempered glass protectors with the liquid adhesive for the pixel watch so theres no reason why he should have scuffs on his watch. the bubble shape of the pixel watch is a nice distinction from the flat screened galaxy watches. on the other hand, the galaxy watches have more variety of watchfaces and more features.

I have an original garmin venu oled. The screen burn in is real and it's not as bright as it used to be but it's been 4 years and still has about 3.5 day battery life and it used to have a 6-7 day battery. All I care about is seeing who's calling when I'm not at my phone and other small notifications. Plus it being a watch everything else is a not what I use other then maybe the quick glance weather

It's just mind-boggling that they design the watch to be as breakable as possible with the screen bulging out so much, and then offer no repairs. Nice one, Google.

To be fair you only need to put the pattern or passcode into your watch every time it comes off of your wrist.

The new Pixel Watch 2 offers a replacement plan when purchasing which the original pixel did not offer so that's a win.
