'Voted for Cycle, VVPAT Showed Lotus': Lakhimpur Kheri Voters Allege 'EVM Fraud'

Several voters in the Gole town of UP's Lakhimpur Kheri district alleged an "EVM fraud" during the Phase 4 voting for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections on Monday, 13 May. Several videos flooded social media with voters saying that while they pressed the 'Cycle button' (Samajwadi Party's symbol) on the electronic voting machines, the Voter-Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) slips showed 'Lotus' (BJP's symbol). Meanwhile, the District Magistrate denied all allegations, and posted another video of the viral woman voter, in which she later said the polling went "fine".

@@Way_to_success00 Not only by this caption but they way recently EC is acting I feel is not democratic. You know 5 percent vote increased from polling day to the day they released data. Do you know how much is 5 percent its nearly 5 crore votes. In face one and 2 if we take atleast 30 cr voters for 150 seats then then 5 percent is 1.5 cr. Per seat it will be like 1.5 lakhs, 😂 😂 enough to decide in tough seats.

Why does VVpat Slip always print BJP whenever there is an error. I have never seen any other partys symbol on vvpat whenever there is an error. ECI clarified that it prints the first party on the EVM machine but irony is that EVM still prints BJP symbol on Vvpat even BJP is last on EVM.
