If you sleep in their tree house while your food bar is super low, they'll actually feed you in your sleep, all the way up to full.

I mean, they are cats, so it makes sense that they are a bit mischievous. I love to imagine that the one in your base ate the shrimp because it was unable to contain itself and at night it sleeps on you like a cat.

cats are not "mischievous" by nature..they are trying to survive and people think that just because they are not brainwashed like most poor dogs and that they are more independent that makes the trouble which is a very toxic mentality

Question: How big are they? From what I could make out from the shimmering of their cloaking, they look roughly the same size as your typical human. You'd know if something that big is sleeping on you because it'd be very hard to breath.

@@cosmicreef5858you read FAAAAR too much into what i wrote my guy, i am in fact a car person, i had a cat who me and my family still miss and love to this day. Cats come off as mischievious vecause they tend to jump everywhere, claw everything in sight and so on, yes it IS because of stronger natural instincts (since dogs do so as well, just not as often), but because of it they tend to come off as prissy little furballs

I wonder if you could somehow create a "trap" of sorts to determine if a visitor came to your base, like a stack of cups for example since the old "Flour on the floor for footsteps" trick won't work without the key component.

@@PerfectedVenus_Monsoon I was playing some Phasmophobia, a sound sensor could also be great. Just pop one down near a camera or where some activity is, and then you can hear the things from that location being played in real time at your laptop / computer.

I thought the same thing lol If it happened in real life i think they wouldnt give a shit. They are technologically advanced aliens after all. They are here in in-game earth for a reason. Since interstellar travel is a very costly thing they wouldnt throw away resources just to mess with some stupid hoomans. Their ships doesnt look like an early sign of upcoming apocalypse, you know like with big guns and big bombs, so they might be recon or research ships. By considering all of that we can say that they are here not to kill or hurt you but to try to milk every possible reaction out of you to know better what are humans made of (basically study you). Heck, maybe they can even abduct you and chop off your limbs with your head to study your insides if they havent done it yet. If you think about that they dont seem friendly, empathetic and/or in any way breedabl- Scientists, no matter what race, are the most cruel creatures ever existed. They will do anything to learn how everything works.

it all depends on your rep with them. They can range from being extremely helpful, to being completely indifferent, to making Dr. Kel's life hell depending on what your rep level is. At their worst they can leave bombs in candy boxes, rig the ATV to explode when you get on it, spread caltrops around all the exits of your base. Leave drives that explode around. Leave poisoned food around, plus a bunch of other 'pranks'.

I just started playing this game a couple days ago and as I was experimenting I left some snacks in the tree house and was so delighted when I returned to discover they actually ate them. I've been leaving them snacks ever since. For as terrifying as this game is it's oddly cute.

@@thymii well... I would... If I didnt have such a bad computer, that when I try to do the code to open the main door, it just, click, it appears and instantly disappears... I have a pretty bad computer... I think I would get scared shitless anyway, even if I knew what is going to happen...

@@thymii and yes, I did try and put the graphics and everything high perfomance eater to lowest possible... Altough... This happens with nearly every game, the only, pretty much no lag (lag if mods on) games are Minecraft, Rimworld, Peopel playground (unless I decide to nuke the map)... And even only sometimes... Like... Minecraft, I can't play 1.19+, and 1.18 lags af (also can have at best, 30 mods...), Rimworld 1.4, lags a bit... Some if the mods I play with arent for 1.4 so am stuck on 1.3... and so on...

Oh yeah, that's basically just how it is even as a player. I've known abt/played this game for over a year now. I still can't figure out how to get signals and can't navigate at all. Basically just wander now. I don't even know where the structures are. It's just trees.
