My God I am back again after 6 months. 4am in the morning today I realised that my life has been parallel to Esther. Lord grant me the wisdom to live a life of purpose that is ahead of me 🙏🇿🇼

My name is Ester and since I was a kid I hated my name. People made fun of me for it and I never understood why my parents would give me such a name. But this sermon has taught me why my name is so precious

The alleged "THREE MAGI" are mentioned or inferred in Matthew and Luke...Lining up or counting inclusively from Esther to Matthew going East is twenty-four books. Going East from Luke and cycling back to Esther is forty-two books. The multiples are: (3 x 8)=24 (3 x 14)=42 814 is two complete clock cycles leaving 94 for the remaining third cycle. Translated to leap year days of the year lands on April 3rd. Counting non-inclusively from Esther to both Matthew and Luke respectively is 23 books and 25 books. Those numbers form the abbreviation for WY (the fiftieth united state alphabetically). Then I look at the word count in Esther Chapter Five Verse One and it is fifty. So, I take the Five Verse One and make it fifty-one which when divided by three gives the book number (17th) of Esther. When multiplied by three it is one hundred fifty-three (see John).

Small problem, Esther didn't seize the opportunity. She was forced to go into the Kings harem. When the king’s command and edict became public knowledge and when many young women were gathered at the fortress of Susa under Hegai’s supervision, Esther was taken to the palace, into the supervision of Hegai, keeper of the women. Esther 2:8 CSB bible.com/bible/1713/est.2.8.CSB Read the text well and you'll see she wasn't given the option. The king ordered an edict. Then it doesn't say she dolled herself up on her own to get ready. She was forced to doll herself up (v. 9). We make Esther into the hero but God was orchestrating everything from behind the scenes. Rich began well with the message but he missed it when he said that Esther is seizing the opportunity even though there were obstacles. It doesn't preach as well when we say, "Go about your day-to-day and see what God does.".

It's a painful truth that this ISN'T a "Cinderella story," but a story of kidnapping and rape. She certainly could not have said no to the king and lived. But she did make the most of the circumstances she was in. She was faithful despite the absolutely atrocious things that happened to her. She is worthy of praise, but let's be realistic. Who among us would willingly give our daughter to the king (or, say, president) for the *chance* to be queen, but more likely a life as a concubine in his harem. Any takers? Ha. Not likely. Esther was amazing. She had a choice to be afraid, but she chose to be brave. Most people have no idea the truth of the story.

Mr. Evans, may I ask your opinion? If "approaching the king" was dangerous (@), how could Esther have "informed" the king of the plot to kill him (@)? (I struggled about this for a long time, and I think I may have an answer.)
@hani21432 жыл бұрын
May be Esther would have conveyed news through eunuchs to inform the king.. as it is life threatening it was taken to king at once.. or may be esther would have told him when he came to meet her in her haram.. But in this case esther mentioned that the King dint call for her for more than a month.. king might have gotten busy in governing or some other things.. who knows.. they dint have mobile phones either to communicate 🤔 so she would have been uncertain abt the thoughts going on in his mind abt her..🤔🤔 these are just my assumptions..

@@hani2143 Dear Ni Vi, Thanks for kindly replying. Can I offer my idea? I think that because Mordecai did not know when the two trusted doorkeepers Bigthan and Teresh were planning to strike, the threat to her husband was immediate, so Esther urgently went to warn him, uninvited, and therefore at the risk of her life. Ahasuerus trusted her enough not to have her executed, and investigated the door keepers (who likely he had personally appointed to guard himself, as Artaxerxes later appointed Nehemiah), and later realized that Esther had saved his life. I think Ahasuerus didn't thank Esther (or even see her) for a month because Haman, who Ahasuerus had apparently put in charge of the investigation (soon afterward he was given dictatorial power over everyone but the king) wanted to prevent Ahasuerus from getting any further info from Mordecai, because it was actually Haman and his wife Zeresh who had been the masterminds behind the assassination plot from the beginning. So in Chapter 4, considering that Ahasuerus had not thanked her for saving his own life, it took great courage for Esther to once again risk her life, this time for the Jews, a people who Ahasuerus knew little or nothing about.
