Si tal como se ve en el video, los flotadores que mantienen el tubo quedan en la superficie del mar es probable que 1 de cada 10 buques que naveguen cerca colisionen con ellos.

Pero hay otra versión de la tecnología, donde el flotador es el propio túnel y anclado en el fondo submarino por cables.

There's not one. No human has ever travelled down a hyperloop and no vehicle has ever gone remotely to the claimed speeds in one. They refuse to give any relevant experimental data.

Great idea... placing a vaccuum tube underneath a water surface which generates enough pressure to already crush anything but the strongest submarine hulls like a beer can under a pile driver. What an insanely stupid idea. This needs a 'Naked Gun' version of face-palming.

Who is making all of these slick Hyperloop videos? Who, working on this project are and are not getting paid and where does the money come from? And by the way, have they figured out the expansion joints yet? And who believes this bullshit?

pforce9 DON'T BE SO IGNORANT. YOU'RE ALREADY THOUGHT TO JUST HAVE AN IQ SCORE OF 89 COMPARED TO THE 173 SCORE FOR THE REST OF THE HUMAN SPECIES. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE LEFT BEHIND AND THOUGHT OF BY THE REST OF HUMANITY AS REMAINING PRIMITIVE WHEN YOU ARE CAPABLE OF SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU ALLOW YOURSELF ? Those are some really good questions. My theory is that the producers and audiences mostly consist of school kids and uninformed millennials. In any event, the loopians are seldom capable of engaging in meaningful conversations. That's often an indication of low educational level.

It's a good thing but only for the countries in the west mediteranean cost of north africa because they still mediteraneen and the culture is verry influenced by urope so being closer could be okey ,but the rest of the continent is so undevelopped ...

Train-ferry technics would be much cheaper. And the technical segment of train-ferries is completely underdeveloped. Too long tunnels are too expensive to content and between to continents much too dangerous. I fear about my tax-money as a European citizen. (And I think it is not only me.)

marc biele "your" tax money not only is a tiny grain of sand, used to pay your off sick days, your civil servants, the retired pensions, among other local bits. It will never pay such a huge project, mind you. These projects have different ways of funding. So no need to be affraid, you will hopefuly eat your pension when time comes. Linking Spain and Morocco (or Europe and Africa) will benefit both continents in economic and development terms. It these projects that boost ecnomy and if Africans do have industrial infrastructure, then, migration will mean nothing for them. It is these projects that bring political stability. Political stability and economic growth will keep Africans in their home countries because, no one, yes, no one in the world want to leave their country when it provides work and food for everyone.

So no space projects, no civil engineering, etc, etc except probably in your country, am I wrong? In the meanwhile, they will do it in China and the US...With such ideas Europe has no future. Linking 2 continents will also benefit your country, don't get so selfish with your taxes. These projects are supposed to ensure a return.

@@davidoleaduplan4650 How will the hypeloop yield any return? The hypeloop companies have been around for c. 6 years already, and no viable passenger transportation system has been build. All they do is burning money.
