As a musician, of course I appreciate all types of music. I really love indian classical music and hindi pop. I am really enjoying this lesson in the culture's music theory. I can't wait to share this with my students, I think they would also find this very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Flamenco actually came from the gypsies who originated from India actually so thats a big contributing factor as to why Latin music uses Eastern sounding scales.

Wow... thank you. By a long shot: *easier to understand than my teacher had explained it.* Also...wait a minute?!! Hindustani music And Karnatic music interpret notes differently? Omg!! I thought it a little difficult to learn some Karnatic music basics, and I'm from America (U.S.A.) now i don't feel quite as bad...😂😂
