Considering how many EXTREMELY bizarre things that have happened and these guys have seen and heard with their own eyes and ears, it's kind of funny that the crew continues to doubt other people when they report something strange. But anyways, that TV for kids back in the day! This was truly "Lost In Space" under the sea (but without a snivelling and conniving character like Dr. Smith).

i wonder if the stars of irwin allen's films rejoiced when they got a script like this with a dual role, so they can stretch as an actor, or did they go home thinking, twice as much work for the same salary...
@TooleManTV
@TooleManTV Жыл бұрын
I read that Richard Basehart's co-stars said he enjoyed performing the dual role. Easy to see why, too, both from the quality of the script and a chance for him to stretch a little, and in contrast to the usual repetitive monster scripts Irwin Allen had them grinding out weekly.

In the episode where Basehart played another dual role, 'Day of Evil', in the a split screen in the Admiral's office with the Admiral & the alien, when 'it's time for reckoning,' you can see something that looks like metal behind Basehart's (as the alien) right ear. It doesn't go into the ear though. I wondered if it was something that communicated the pacing of the lines?

What a shoddy way to run a naval sub😮😂. The officers should all be reprimanded and stripped of rank😢. The Admiral has valuable info that he keeps from his officers, what a jackass🫏. I love it. All that stupidity and nothing resembling the slightest in the way of intelligent thought. What a great show and clever way of displaying how it is possible for buffoonary and innate stupidity to triumph whilst at the same time putting the crew at risk unnecessarily. Fantastic😂🤪🫏❤ I love ❤️ it😊 PS. I wonder how close to the truth 🤔 this show is😂.
