I was 43 years old when Voyager 1 was launched. I'm 80 now, and this news actually brings a lump to my throat. Can modern generations ever imagine how WONDERFUL we found all of this? When I was in school, we hadn't even seen the far side of the Moon! And I had SF books confiscated by teachers who declared space travel to be godless fantasy. I don't remember their sad little names - but I still have copies of those Arthur C Clarke, Asimov, Heinlein, Bradbury, etc etc. Now we have Hubble, Webb and the ISS. So - Veeger - carry on talking. But above all, PLEASE deliver your messages. And yes, the Pale Blue Dot remains - for the time being at least - the most wonderful photograph in existence. EDIT - OK, OK - I was clearly 33 of course.
