Interesting, how Danny quotes the first lyric of Ascension at the very end of this song! Is there a connection? This new album is superb! All your albums are 100%!

There are little hints of each song throughout the album, but a lot of it wasn't done intentionally (that lyric obviously was!). Just seemed to happen, but I think it makes it more cohesive :)

I feel like there are a few little lyrical themes that go between the other albums too. I've heard 'riverside' and 'silent core' in other songs, and I feel like those are intentional references. Michael Whelan no worries at all! Danny does love riversides hahaha who knows why. Interesting fact on this topic. There originally weren't any drums on "to The Riverside". That was a studio decision whilst Ash was tracking drums and randomly myself and scott yelled out the same idea of the drums referencing the rhythm of Ascension. That's one instance where it was intentional ;)
