Wow! Mine didn't get that bad. We were on Deck 6. My husband called after we saw a couple of inches in the balcony and they said they would call Maintenance. Shortly thereafter the water in the balcony started to drain. We got some water in our room which we covered with water but nothing like yours. I'm so sorry. On a good note ... at least we left the next day. I felt for the staff as they had a lot of cleaning up to do ... especially in the kitchen.

No warning by capt of approaching storm, total mayhem. Folks saying prayers on the ship. The chapel was full. From my balcony window all I could see at one point was the ocean. No sky on the horizon. Booze bottles broken. Slot machines fell onto players. A big circle made by the ship. What heck ! Did we lose engine power ? First tilt was to starboard. Next tilt was to port.

It had me questioned the captain's ability. We were on Carnival during Hurricane Harvey which our cruise turned from 5 days to 11. Though you would have never known we were around a hurricane. The captain stayed around the hurricane.

@@norvaz94 We were on the Carnival Vista during Hurricane Irma. 6-day sailing turned into 11day one. Had an absolute blast! Great life experience! I blew my budget at the casino that trip!

Another odd thing on Voyager. The navigation map was gone off the TV channel before we hit the storm and stayed off.

@@trishwilkerson7412If you ever had a wet basement you take towels to soak up the water and wring the water out of the towels into a sink drain. Then you use a fan to dry it out.
