So it turns out that all the 2wd vehicles have a shim on either side of the hub carrier Except the Slash (only on wheel side). I guess the manual for the early kits had a misprint. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Shim your vehicle appropriately.

Question. What if the hex doesn’t come off. The part where the wheel goes onto. I’ve used a flathead with a hammer and still won’t come off

It should come off but if it doesn’t you might need to cut it off and replace it. The nice thing is, Traxxas parts are cheap.

I have 2 little rings that came out of my hub assembly of my Redcat Tornado. I noticed them just sitting on the shaft that spins the rear wheel. Now the wheel has trouble spinning and creating a lot of heat. Any clue what I need to replace?

Bruh, i felt you had to pop it out but wasnt sure thank you, on tue 1/16 it says to slide a flat head in there and push the pin out. Thought that meant at the same time🤦🏽‍♂️

The hexes are tight and snap on. It takes some force to get them back on. Make sure everything is aligned and the pin is centered.

Thank you! All of their models have been updated to bearings (as far as I know). They did that to save some money on the brushed models. It was annoying. 🤣
