Ah yes, the old caster block. Its really pretty easy to swap out. Make sure you install the L on the Left and the R on the Right.

I put some new metal ones on my slash (caster block and steering block) and also put some new metal stub axle carriers along with A Arms. What I noticed is there’s a little play between all the parts, where they meet. Also some play in the wheels, you can shake them a little. Is that normal and okay?

You can use some shims to take out the slop, but a little is normal.

Bandit Caster Blocks are raked 25 degrees. All others are 30 .

My caster block snapped in half, including the pin going through it, what's it called?

The pin would be a “hinge pin” or “king pin”. Usually sold in a set.

Why does the Rustler have Allen screws 😩

Do you mean Phillips? The VXL vehicles come with Allen (hex) head screws and the brushed motor models were coming with Phillips head screws. I believe they have all since been updated to have Allen head hardware.
