They revised these this year, and the new version is much better. The new sticks are much tighter, and accurate. They also seem to have upped the quality on the shell and shoulder buttons. The shoulder switches on the pcb are MUCH clickier on the revised models

Did they fix the right thumb stick to be true 360? I have had some knock offs from Amazon that had a messed up right thumb stick to where it was difficult to use at an angle that not on a 8 direction making it useless for shooters or rpg games.

I plan to use the controller with a drone flight simulator. I found this to be a good description and honest assessment of the Voyee controller. You answered my question which was where is the battery compartment? No wonder I couldn’t find it. It’s nonexistent! Thanks for your video.

I got mine from a Goodwill today, meaning it was used. No stick drift, and haven't touched an actual 360 controller for years (my friend had one) and am not much of a console player, but I'll be using this for driving games for sure! I already like it, and it works well despite being used.

It has dead spots in both joysticks. You have to move them like a mm before they actually move the character on screen.

Thanks a lot for this thorough review. My husband has a Xbox one controller and it needs to be replaced because of the D-pad overuse (he's a Rocket League guy like yourself) and between Skyrim on pc and FFXIV on controller, I need a replacement. Knowing this not only comes in pink, but genuinely looks like a fantastic buy all around, your review sold me. Voyee Controller is not on the same level as a Xbox Controller. At first, I was having problems with using this controller on my PC. I did some adjustments. I found out that the controller will respond much better if you do not place a fixed fps setting on your game. On my old Xbox controller, I could set the fps at 60 and my game would work very well. On the Voyee controller, my new controller works well at an unfixed fps setting for gaming. Thanks.

I've owned both the wired & wireless voyee controllers (not the switch one yet), I've never had stick drift come into play until after +2 years of very hard use. Sure it isn't as nice feeling as a MS controller, but it far outlived my Power A controllers, which all developed stick drift in 1 - 2 months of easy use (all 4 of them). This is a must buy if you are looking for something that is budget friendly and will last.

There are some similar controllers without text on the home button. Many of these (if not all of them) have EXTREMELY broken analog deadzone and sensitivity. It's truly awful that it makes racing and shooting games which require tiny movements UNPLAYABLE AND NOT FUN AT ALL. Like, I don't mind cheap controllers if they work, but it was painfully obvious how incorrect the analog sticks were! I don't know if VOYEE is any different but its always possible they end up supplied from the same chinese place as the others.

@@zxbryc I don't think Voyee is the same, I went through many chinese suppliers & other off brands until I tried Voyee. They don't feel top notch, but dead zone was minimal and like I said, took years to get stick drift compared 2 weeks - 2 months with other brands

I've had mine for a week. It's good for racers. Great analog sticks, analog triggers, bumpers, and dpad. Those didn't let me down at all. But I do have a big complaint. The edge of the face buttons sink below the controller line! As long as you press lightly and your thumb is in the center of the button its ok.. but if you press hard or from the edge it's uncomfortable. I feel the sharp outline of the button hole every time. Also makes it a bit harder to press multiple face buttons at once. Not great for fighters or classic games. On the Microsoft brand controller the entire face button stays well above even when you press hard. For racing games and 1st person shooters that dont really use the face buttons quite as much it feels fine, good 3rd party controller for that, but for fighters or classic games I stick to the Microsoft brand.

I dont regret getting it because I bought it mostly for racing. My Microsoft controllers the rubber is worn off the thumbstick. So this was a good replacement for that. The analogs are shockingly good for 3rd party. The face buttons are actually nice and clicky too, just a shame they aren't at the proper height. Otherwise would be perfect.

I wonder if you could carefully file down the inside areas with fine grit sandpaper or something. Or replace the rubber pad underneath with original or alternate aftermarket padding. 🤔 I have had major issues disassembling genuine wired Xbox 360 controllers though. Messed up the joysticks big time on 2 separate controllers trying to clean them, without even touching the analog sticks at all. One had defective joysticks out of the box lol.

I just wish I could find an original xbox 360 controller. I can't find one anywhere! It's sad that I have to turn to a 3rd party controller that isn't as good. 3rd party controllers should be better and look amazing. The old consoles had 3rd party controllers with turbo! They were awesome! What happened to all that?

Can we get a more detailed review. I know there is programs to check deadzones and trigger pressure. In some racing games the triggers have to pressed all the way the down to fully accelerate. I know for the ps4 controllers you can use ds4windows to read controller data I dont know the equivalent for xbox360 tho.

Picked this up. It's sturdy, and the d-pad is better than the MS version, but the analog sticks are horribly inaccurate, with a huge dead zone. Feels like it only moves 8 ways. Gonna be picking up a razer one in a few weeks to replace it.

@Chris the Ravager Hey. I didn't use it very much. It does indeed still work, though. I can't vouch for the durability since it didn't actually get regular use. Unless you're a fan of the Xbox d-pad placement, I'd suggest something else. I've been using a PowerA enhanced xb1 controller regularly for about a year now, and it's been really good. I did pick up the razer wolverine v2 chroma and it's also decent, but expensive, and a little uncomfortable in the hands, for some reason. I love Mr. Sujano but I have to disagree about the positivity toward the Yoyee controller. In my opinion, it's actually worse than the Logitech F310, which has a great d-pad, but everything else about it is terrible. In both cases, the analog sticks don't function well at all. FPS and racing games are a huge struggle with the Voyee and Logitech controllers due to an extreme lack of precision in the analog sticks.

i have had this controller for 6-7 months now and I would not recommend this controller for the long run because mine stopped connecting to my windows ten even though its wired. I plug it in and it lights up for a second and just goes dark and is dead

I figured it out and every time I turn on the 360 I have to unplugged and plug the controller back in.... the Xbox must turn on first and then u unplug the controller and then proceed to plug it back in...... that's what it was like 4 me idk about anything else

I went a decade without knowing Xbox 360 had a wireless controller. I just bought this and love it works just as good as wireless. This is the top rated 3rd party controller out there. I could have saved some money on batteries for sure

Thanks for this! Just now getting into PC games - not a big gamer so I feel I do not need to spend over the top $$ for a controller. Knock offs are how we live these days fully understanding "quality" can be compromised. The 1 yr warranty is a good buying catch but what is the process of submitting a fix or refund & will the company still be around or change names? And for that price how many people will bother? For me - I agree - buy it cheap, cross your fingers and hope for the best. If you just like beating the crap out of electronic devices - then go for expensive.🤑

I bet this video had a huge mass of dislikes before they became invisible. You're straight up misleading people about this controller. People who are here for honest reviews get a guy paid to gloss over the fine details. These details matter to gamers. I guess don't buy a $20 controller, period, but those who came here hoping to find an affordable alternative found a glowing review encouraging them they would get essentially the same experience as the name brand controller. Fact is the performance is nowhere near the xbox brand, nor does it last as long. These are things that should have been bluntly stated, whether you were paid to "review" it or not. This comes off like a promotion for VOYEE rather than a review for your tech audience. and the audience comments about how bad it is and how you mislead them. And the like/view ratio is so low compared to other reviews that are more honest. I think that speaks for itself. Good luck on your channel. Shill less and grow faster.

This controller is a disappointment. It works, but the analog sticks have a large deadzone that’s very noticeable and makes some games unplayable. Don’t recommend at all. I’m going to stick to the regular old school Microsoft 360 controllers.

Not sure why and not sure if I'm the only one that has had this problem with it. But on some of the PC games I've been playing (all controller supported) Seems to not register that it's there like click any buttons or what not doesn't respond aside from the middle one. But that's only some of the time only one I've been trying and it hasn't worked yet even after changing ports or such is Akiba's Trip.

If you're talking about what I think you are, I have that happen to me every now and then, even with an official xbox controller. Sometimes the controller gets stuck in "Player 2" or even "Player 3" mode and the easiest way to fix is to just restart the PC.

I am trying to play Spider-Man (2000) on my pc but the triggers don’t register AT ALL. Any recommendations? Is it just that game? I mean, it is a port from the PSOne days, so is it just because of the compatibility patch maybe? Literally every other button works flawlessly (had to set my web swing to left analog click so it’s just a but frustrating)

I've noticed the same thing trying to play much older games (games that existed long before Xbox 360). I think there is a higher likelihood of running into this problem no matter which PC controllers you use. I don't think PC controllers even existed back in the year 2000. Did they?

You must have lucked out on your controller. Got mine on Amazon and the joystick drift is horrendous. Voyee offered me a replacement, but virtually all the negative reviews on Amazon were 99% about the terrible drift and triggers and buttons not working. Useless for FPS games. I won't go through the hassle of returning this piece of garbage.

I just got mine the box says improved more sensitive joysticks, so maybe they fixed it. I tried it on Race Pro and Halo and works good. What I dont like is how the A B X Y buttons sink so low. If my thumb isnt dead center on the button, or if I press too hard, it's so uncomfortable.. On the Microsoft brand the face buttons are always well above the controller line, making it easy to press multiple buttons with one thumb. I tried Mortal Kombat Kollection and Sega Genesis collection, hate the Voyee for those. Only really like it for Racing.
