Why he died, no one knows but his life ended. There was no more "him". I would have been just as devastated had she went and had an abortion. Why? Because it ended the life of my son. When my oldest son was later killed in an accident, I was also torn apart. Yet, being a farm boy, I had to shoot my pet dog when it was hit by a car and it was dying. I hated doing it, even broke down crying after, but it had to be done. We could have called a vet and had him do the dirty work for us, but the outcome would have been the same, less the cost of the vet. NOT a false equivalency. Death is horribly traumatising to those who value life. When life is meaningless, it's easy to celebrate the loss of life of those we don't like or the lives of those who inconvenience us. That's his point.

Without the government protecting the rural citizens, they would all fall to the strongest outlaw. You do realize that most rural people live off the subsidies provided by the government? The government has to spend way more $$$ supporting rural people than city people. Those country roads rural people use are made by the government. They are paid for by the people from the cities. Most rural communities in USA are debtor communities, meaning they take more from the system than the system gives them. Most farms and ranches are only successful because of government subsidies and insurances on their crops. Left to their devices, they'd be poor and starving and most likely overrun by gangs and outlaws. The wild west had to be tamed and controlled by city folk. Make no mistake, the rural people are more dependent on the city than the opposite. The USA basically fought a war over this kind of thinking. The city people beat the ever loving shit out of the rural people. And that was in a time when the divide in power was much smaller. Today the gap is so great, the city folk would laugh their asses off at rural people trying to be 'independent'.

As a former canine handler for the police, they do not adopt out dogs that are unsuccessful. They sent them back to whatever breeder they got them from for them to do with as they see fit. The liability is too great for them to adopt dogs out to private citizens, especially if the dogs are overly aggressive.

My husband trained her to not be aggressive and that never happened again. My point is that she should have rehomed that dog. My current dog chases squirrels, deer, turkey, any kind of small animal day in and day out. I keep her on a leash. There are other options. Police dogs that fail K9 school send them back to the breeder. It would be too much of a liability to just adopt them out. The breeder may or may not adopt them out. What makes you think that? It depends on the breed and size. Many breeds don’t reach full maturity until 2 or even 3. German Shepherds are an example of this. Additionally, a lot of big-boned and muscular bully breeds don’t have their growth plates fuse until they’re about 2. Orthopedic veterinary medicine treats them as puppies until that age. In the Noem case at hand, the Wirehair Pointer she tied up and shot hadn’t reached full maturity at only 14 months. This breed doesn’t fully mature and become an “adult” until at least 24 months. So effectively, that dizzy b*tch bragged about killing a puppy. It’s all irrelevant anyway because of rumors of her affair with Corey Lewandowski. Trump couldn’t select her and invite that noise.

If you take your Wirehair Pointer (the dog she killed) to the orthopedic veterinarian, he’ll tell you this breed is still immature until at least 24 months. And that’s only physically - they are not mentally or emotionally matured until they’re 2-3 years old. Like German Shepherds at this age, they can be hard to control when they’re this young. Accordingly, I suspect incompetence in the dog’s training rather than some insidious, irreparable personality defect in the dog that would necessitate shooting the animal.

I'm sorry but I disagree with ya'll. Until you've actually lived the ranch or farm life you have NO idea why and how farmers/ranchers have to make the decisions they do! We had a livestock guardian dog in training tear apart the ears of our very expensive registered boar. You just can't have dogs that you are raising to PROTECT your livelihood kill or maim them. They either have it within them to be the best protectors or sometimes they don't and typically you know that from a very young age. Until you've lived the life, don't judge.

14 months old is not a puppy that’s a full-blown adult dog. in breeds like an Anatolian shepherd or something like that that dog could easily be 100 pounds plus and standing vertically could be well over 6 feet. They’re very big very tough very strong dogs and it seven and eight months old they can easily kill coyotes, sometimes two or three of them at a time. this is just a political attack people using hyperbolic language to turn something into something it isn’t
