Very well said. I, for one, am so tired of hearing how my country is going to hell, and only he can fix it. His own life is in shambles. If he can’t even get his own life in order, what makes anyone think that he can get theirs in order? He can’t. He’s trying to keep himself out of prison. He’s committed so many crimes, but his followers still defend this convicted felon. Kamala gives us hope that things will change. For example, having corporations pay their fair share of taxes. Some companies pay “ZERO” in taxes while the rest of us are the ones having to help the government keep the lights on. Every day I see those big 18 wheeler trucks pass by delivering goods like from my local HEB, WALMART, DOLLAR, GENERAL, OR FAMILY DOLLAR. These big corporations pay little or nothing in taxes to repair the roads they use to transport their goods from place to place. If they help to damage those roads and bridges, they should help by paying taxes to renovate those roads they destroy. It’s only fair. Price Gouging is something that just drives me crazy. These companies are so greedy. The price of eggs is unreal. A carton of 18 extra large eggs used to,be less than $3. Now my local HEB has them for $4.60. Why? Why so expensive? My local Walmart isn’t much better. I used to buy a 4 lb package of 93% fat free ground beef for a little less than $15. Now, that same package is $29.87. Why? Why double the price? It drives me insane. These corporations are making so much in profits, but they still want more. I hope that Kamala will sue those corporations for price using us to death. They don’t care about the damage they are causing American families. IT’s shameful, and they should be raked over the coals for their greed.

From Arizona here. When she stated "I will always honor tribal sovereignty and respect tribal self-determination".....it got some tears going. In Arizona, we have the largest reservation, as well as the largest population of Native Americans remaining in our country as of now. What has been done to our Natives from the beginning has been nothing but genocide, followed by treaties broken whenever we saw fit. Run them over in schools, and treat them poorly in the communities our reservations are in. (Camp Verde where I am from and live being one such place) To hear a presidential nominee FINALLY say what she said......does my heart good. We need to start respecting our Natives rights, sovereignty, dignity, and ability to maintain their own communities. And we need to stop trying to circumvent and take over every time we think we know better than them. Most of these tribes have walked this land for thousands of years before we showed up. I think they know how to live and govern themselves here just fine.
