VPA 1000 Side-Discharge Fertilizer Tender: The Backstory

The VPA 1000 tender is the industry’s first and only tender with a Variable Position Auger (VPA) system that features unloading capabilities on both sides at incredible rates of over 5,000 lbs. per minute. That is 43% faster than our standard tenders. The auger’s mobility allows drivers to unload from either side of the tender for ease of access in any position. In addition, operators can store the 22 ft. auger on either side of the tender - maximizing maneuverability for unloading, minimizing excess time positioning the auger and allowing for easy positioning to fill multiple bin machines.
This 30-ton workhorse provides 50-degree angled hopper bottoms, self-cleaning bins and product viewing windows to save drivers from the treacherous task of climbing up and down the tender to check levels. The VPA 1000 also features a pit dump option allowing for multi-purpose functionality, reducing the need for equipment at a retail location.
