VR's Best FPS Mods

Contractors is one of the best options for VR games if you want to maximise the fun that you have. It's mechanics call for a fast paced environment that creates that enjoyable gameplay. What makes contractors stand out, is it mods.
Each mod is impressive in their own right with some being mass transformations. Those ones are on their own tier of awesome - they make you feel like you are in a completely different.

I’m assuming your talking about HaloHH, it’s buggy as hell. Everytime I use that mod I spawn in with my guns way behind me and my friends will have similar issues. I don’t recommend using it

​@eternalglow6483 nah it was called HaloVR for a while but I think it's now just under Halo compared to HaloLoadout like the old one featured in this vid. The creator, virtual samurai even added flyable banshees to some maps and he's also setting up h4Ragnarok with a Capture the Flag mode right now. I'm not sure when that game mode will be out but I'm so ready to play it when it is. He also has infection available. Best maps for infection are blackout from and high ground as those don't really have any major bugs.

Just bought this yesterday for COD Zombies, and it's so fun. It's hard to get used to after not playing VR for years, but it's definitely an awesome addition to my vr library. 🙂

You should check out the endless war mod. Its my favorite and is essentially a ww1 bf1 type loadout with 6 different classes that each play differently. Just make sure the lobby isnt on a map called "the end."

The shotgun is break action, you have to grab it from the top of the barrel and pull down

This randomly made me realise how weird imo it is that 343i or Microsoft haven't tried making the entire MCC game VR compatible because they obviously want and try to make that game the most superior way to play all past halo games and it's great in most every way but just adding VR to it would really imo add another insane way to play

How the fuck can a modder create fallout weapons that can be properly manipulated in vr and Bethesda tried to pull the whole “you don’t need hands and you can only hold weapons with one non hand oh and reload is a button press and floating animation” come on

I love it, my only issue with the mods is 90% of the maps look like trash. I guess the modders are to blame for that because some maps (like the McDonald’s CSGO map and Nuketown map) look stunning. I love playing the halo maps specifically one called “the pit” but again I just wish the graphics were better, the halo character models are a nice touch but they are low quality. My dream VR game is a game exactly like this but with much better graphics and the options to tweak more gameplay settings.

These mods are so cool, but I've often wondered about the legality behind them. Anyone have good information for how it works for fair use/copyright/etc? Always wondered when they are using Star Wars properties/music/etc. Thanks for any info!

As a user itd aint a problem. As publisher however its a different story. But licences expire and certain aspects become free use for modders. Cod maps have been used in loads of games and never really has been a problem unless it blows up and its all they talk about 😊

Maps are separate mods you download off the mod list. They don’t come with the mods

I'm a huge the Fallout franchise but that mod looked so bad. Wtf is an NCR fighter? No first recon? No rangers? Literally just the lack of care to not put in the proper names to the mod shows how poor it'll be.
