PMC is 100% the best way to play Contractors, everything feels much better, I even tried some PMC loadouts on Star wars maps which worked amazingly well with the large scale of the maps.

@@ControlledPairsGamingthey are great since cover is built taking into account the officer class’s jetpack, meaning there’s almost never any invisible walls extending above cover, allowing you to climb them with pmc’s vaulting feature

yeah the way Ground Branch does it is best, an actual player is the hostage hopefully TAVR will have mod support someday and we can get some cool gamemodes like that or like said in the video Contractors sorts out the modding scene so we can have custom mods, kits, and rules.

the one handed sprinting might stop trading kills so much, thats one of the biggest gripes with contractors. You trade almost every kill.

I played Contractors earlier this year, and loved it, but it seemed bit arcade-y. Still really fun though. Mainly played the MW2 mod, and then the Star Wars Battlefront mod, which was stupidly fun. Can't wait to try PMC!

In Insurgency Sandstone and Day of Infamy, your team has a limited number of supports the commander can choose to expend throughout the match, after which you can't use them anymore at all. I think for more of a fast paced tactical game like this, a player-localized version of this system would be the perfect blend of authenticity so every player has the ability to take initiative and use those fun supports, but they also have to strategize when to use them. This can also tie into customization since you can choose what combination of supports you'll have available to you. You could even stack multiple instances of the same weaker support, or maybe you only have enough points for one really powerful one and nothing else

The only features you missed were that you can shoot people’s weapons out of their hand, high caliber weapons flying out of your hand when fired one-handed, and friendly fire being enabled I’m looking forward to seeing you in game, fighting against people who actually implement some tactics is always a fun challenge.

Contractors is the most slept-on game. It's all that I play on VR, the community is amazing (small, but dedicated), the mod support is unmatched (more fidelity than Pavlov), and people are willing to go out of their way to help out beginners. I've been playing since 2020 and it's been a wild ride to see how far its come. The community is what makes any game, and this community is generally nice and hilarious but the global VOIP can be just as toxic as a 2010 MW2 lobby (which is a good thing IMO). Anyway, I wish there were more PMC servers but for now I'm happy that more people are becoming exposed to this amazing game.

While I'd prefer not having in game stamina while using treadmill, in the end it's probably a good thing against joystick players. And I agree that domination game mode gets boring pretty fast. Case and point Insurgency Sandstorm, mechanics are great game play loop isn't.

yeah, quest stand alone and the mods really got the community playing. at least 20 active servers every time I load in.

VR shooters need more single player content instead of more MP content that relay on active players to sustain itself. multiplayer is important but you need to have a solid singleplayer experience for people who are still not used to VR or can't really compete like you can in flat screen games and just want to focus on the fun experience rather than get demotivated to play by people who are on much higher level than them. contractors could be awesome if they only put some effort on single player content...
