Thanks for the tutorial, very informative! I was wondering though, do you know if there is a workflow that allows the insertion of text into LR 180 VR using the Free version of Da Vinci Resolve, or would that be impossible? As a hobby creator I don't have Studio, so many tools such as Splitter, Combiner and the Eye and Stack options are not accessible. Specifically I'm looking to insert text into LR 200 FOV Fisheye. Thanks!

Thank you for watching. I only have the studio version, so I don't know what doesn't work with the free version. I bought it as it was $ 300.- some years ago, and it is still upgradable without other payments. Video is also just a hobby for me, so I never searched for other solutions with 3d text, as I have a working workflow. Maybe you can find answers in the videos from "Hugh Hou" he has a lot of videos relating to 3D.

@@iliaskapatos Thanks very much for your reply. I have watched a few of Hugh's vids but as far as I could tell the last 180 text insert video he did was back before Da Vinci Resolve locked the VR tools into the Studio version. He did have a video on how to separate left and right eyes using crop nodes in order to do some tripod cleanup, so I maybe able to figure something out by combining that with Shape3D, ImagePlane3D and Text3D nodes. Thanks again! :)

I have used the VR180 tool and injected the metadata and still no success with playback in Meta Quest TV or Skybox app. I have uploaded the content to KZbin VR and it plays 3D VR180 fine, but the quality is not good because it is KZbin. Why is the Quest 3 not playing them? They are MP4 H265 100Mbps files at 8192x4096. I can hear the audio playing in Meta Quest TV and Skybox but there is no video. Please help. I have invested a lot of money in order to create immersive video and it has been a week and I have watched every video of yours but still no solution as to why it will playback on KZbin but not Meta Quest TV or Skybox. Any ideas?

If you could send me a Link to [e-mail] with a small sample from your original R5C footage what is too noisy for you (no persons or things what I can't share on KZbin), then I could try to reduce the noise like I do with my footage, and if the result is ok, I would make a small tutorial with your sample. Anyway I would write back to you, if I couldn't find a solution for your footage. But if you shoot in dark conditions, then it helps to use base ISO 3200.

Hi ! Can you convert RAW 8K 60 FPS in EOS VR utility ? Cause with the free version on my PC, it don't see the file above RAW 8K 30 FPS... Did Have to pay to do that, or it's simply not possible ? (I record 8K 60 Raw, without external alimentation... cause it's works, ..The raw are Ok, on the media menu of EOS R5C)

Hi, thank you for watching. I never had an issue with 8K RAW 60fps in EOS VR Utility, but I had to pay a licence for the utility. Sidenote: the VR Utility inly shows files which are recorded with the RF 5.2mm dual fisheye ...

@@iliaskapatos I Find Out ! EOS VR utility Free does convert 8K60.. But it need data of the lens. So you must add extra power supply to the R5C with at least 15v3A .. So 45W (not 60w) and it's wortk's fine :)
