Litreraly the coolest hatchback ever made. Ive built a fair few MkII VWs and my favorite was an AWD MK2 16V G60d Golf. Back in the 2000s when I got it on the roat it would destroy V-tech honduhs and eat corvettes for lunch.

I have recently acquired a 1978 Volkswagen Scirocco from my father and I plan to do a similar build. I will follow this series with great interest.

Of all the VWs over the years my mk2 GTI is still my favorite. I need another one (in a 2dr 6spd mk7 GTI right now). You guys checked all the boxes with this one. Stoked to dig more into your channel & builds.

Thanks! It's a totally custom, one-off design which draws filtered, cold air from the inner fender and D/S portion of the grill.

Absolutely, builds of this caliber tend to spiral pretty quickly! I'd say much sooner than that, now that the body is back from paint. It'll definitely be driving around to events early Spring.

Can you duplicate and sell the rear set up to install a Haldex diff on a MK2. Nobody makes them and original are hard to find.

As I recall, the flares fit pretty well out of the box. We will be sending the car out to tweak some body work/panels prior to paint, but we weren't disappointed with initial fitment!@@mbczaq
