im glad you liked it!! personally i love having very flowy hair, so i add bones to almost every strand (for long hair) of course it can be optimised better, but that is entirely up to you how you want to rig it. things like, opti models and even quest models will need less bones ofc! but i usually dont work with long hairs like this for those types of models c:

Do you topo your models? Or like is it depending on the pay for the models

@slt4463
@slt4463 6 ай бұрын
@@DarcyFBX oh my bad do you retopo? or do you keep it at like 200k polys cause ive seen a lot of vrchat avi creators do that but idk
@DarcyFBX
@DarcyFBX 6 ай бұрын
@@slt4463 I don’t retopo because I poly model, no need for retopology when the topo is good to begin with, polys don’t matter in vrc and honestly 200k isn’t the worst. My recent models have all been low 100k my most recent being 69k, this is because I keep my topology good as I’m working rather than needing to redo it later on. Adds unneeded hours to the modelling process imo, works for others but not me!

make sure youre in edit mode! if it still doesnt work, you may need to check your keybinds. otherwise there is a button at the top of your viewport that is next to the little magnet 'snapping' tool, you can hover over and see what key it is bound to! (its a little circle with a small dot inside)

@@Br4tBunny make sure youre in edit mode when you want to do proportional edit, the circle will come up when you press g to move! then just adjust the circle by scrolling (sometimes you wont see it because its either too big or too small, so just keep scrolling in or out til you see it)
