Meta is a crap company. They sent my headset to the entirely wrong city, didn’t tell me they did so until after it arrived, and refused to correct anything. I had to drive 80 miles on Christmas morning to pick it up off the porch of a vacant house inside a gated community. A month later and they’re still refusing to take responsibility for their mistake.

how does the 60 dollars of store credit bonus work? does the money get put straight into my meta account or is there an email sent to me or something like that?

@@SixMooreCheeseburgers normally it is there directly when you activate your headset just go to the horizon store page inside your headset and check your store credit (if not then it will be through an email because that might depend on the region your in) just keep in mind you only get the credit if you order it through the link though. I do have an apple Vision Pro with which I am delighted. One of its best features is the ability to replay panoramic photos and immersive photos, that I’ve taken on my iPhone 16, which look stunning. I want to show these in particular to others so have purchased an Oculus Quest 3 since the AVP is both cumbersome for others to wear and needs setting up for each individual. However, I’m very disappointed to discover that those photos are too high in resolution to be displayed as panoramics or immersives on the Quest 3. But the resolution of the panoramic and immersive samples on the Quest are even better than I had hoped. The idea of reducing the resolution of my photos is a complete anathema.

For both of them you will need accessories to get more batterie so take that into account in case you are on a budget over all 3 is better, 3s is better for beginners or for gift

Blade and sorcery. If you have a PC, i really recommend half life alyx, you dont need a strong PC, a 1050ti can run it on low settings just fine

they improved on it quite a lot in the last couple of updates and it is still a lot better in my opinion compared to the older quest 2 and quest 1 controllers don't you think?

@ well, not quite I’d say. I’ve personally upgraded to the quest pro controllers becuase I was constantly loosing tracking. However I will say I play gorilla tag and that requires movement from the controllers which the quest 3 controllers aren’t good at. I’d say for casual gaming it’s fine, but for faster pace games such as beat saber and gorilla tag meta quest pros or quest 2 controllers are good.

DO NOT BUY THIS HEADSET. Zuckerberg, do better. We purchased one of these for Christmas, and due to a software update, our set wouldn’t turn on. This was a known issue at the company, and yet they gave us the hardest time trying to exchange it for a new one. Once we finally received a new headset, it wouldn’t pair with our existing controllers. After hours with customer support, we continue to receive generic emails about “how to pair your controllers with your headset.” I’m literally at a loss at this point. I don’t know what to do. Thus the reason I’ve resorted to posting on their KZbin videos in hopes a real person can help us.
