VRInsight Boeing 737 Overhead Unboxing_First Look_MSFS

I have wanted one of these overhead panels for years. Although not built to the same specification and accuracy of some of the full size overheads, it nevertheless makes it a more affordable alternative for the average simmer. This is the first of three videos looking at this product in more detail. I apologise in advance for the less than good sound quality of this video!

Hello! Please, what are the dimensions of the panel? I found some data on their website, but I am not sure about correctness of the data. Also, I would like to ask about the APU switch, and especially the engine start switches - do they work exactly like in real Boeing (switch back automatically after engine stabilization?)? Hi Simon, the APU switch is spring loaded and so works in the same way as the real OH. The engine start switches do not switch back after engine stabilisation. Dimensions of the panel are: 41cm wide x 45cm long x 4cm deep. (give or take the odd millimeter)

The SpadNext/MSFS compatibility is great news - I only wish I still had my old VRinsight overhead! Any idea if they still sell the mini version?

Hi, do you mean the original release of the panel? I'm 99% certain the answer is no. It has been replaced with the newer, slightly larger version.

I have the M-Panel and just could not get it working for X-plane11. They don't update their drivers. Really nice stuff but let down by lack of updates beyond a certain point it seems. Can get them working if you have the time to poke around. Their TPM look tasty and I have been tempted for a few years now but can I take the risk?

I agree. There support is not the greatest, which is a shame. Having said that, once the kit is up and running, it's great!

Hi Robert, yes I did. Direct via DHL to the UK it cost £1200 including taxes and delivery.

Hello, May I ask when ordering, it has a detail address line, what do you put there?

Hiya, I can't remember the finer points of the ordering process. I'm sure if you pay the correct amount and have your full name address that they will hav everything they need. I followed up my order with an email ensurimg that they had all my details and that everything was OK. I did this because I had not received any confirmation email of my payment! I am somewhat saddened that the company seems to be living in the dark ages when it comes to displaying and marketing their products through their online presence.@@toystarr7951

But as you said browsing their website is really painful, and after payment, there is no confirmation at all. I was trying to reach out for them but no reply. Did you ever get any response from them via email?
