I hate that folding latch/hook. It keeps falling when i carry it in the car whenever I brake. Also need to carry it in a certain way so that it wont come off when carrying it.

So your tested milage is 26.5km yet they claim on their website: "40~45 km max mileage, The use of current overload protection technology greatly extends the battery life and increases the cruising range of the electric scooter."

when you read the manuals, most manufacturers add a little fine print saying "range achieved in ideal conditions, 70kg rider, at 20kmh speed" or similar. That is why I am always doing a speed test with my not ideal 90kg, not ideal conditions and full speed :D If you are lighter, ride slowlier, the range is obviously bigger..

Great video. Appreciate your work. AOVO should be paying you as their crash test dummy. Good that you find these faults before other less proficient riders do.

Nah, rather they send me good stuff :D I am too old for all the crashes. 5 years ago (when was still actively skating) I would just roll over from this one 😅 but thanks for the comment. Ofherwise it is awkward to create content and get no feedback 🤷🏻‍♂️ :)

Thanks! I was lucky it was grass and not the pavement :) and the battery seems like in a very strong case… but for the time being I have “reinstalled” the zip-tie 😅

Very solid and nice scooter! I really like AOVO products. Of course it will be better to have some extra holder for the battery 🙂 I hope everything is okay with you. Very nice and informative video

Hey, thank you man :) I am absolutely fine and I was about to film and say how stable the scooter was while steering with one arm :D It is really cool, just a bit unfortunate with that battery :)@@valdsswed

@@VRMinde My friend has an older model of that scooter and use him every day. He is a "solid" man and he is very happy with the reliability of this scooter. One more time thanks for your video and we are waiting for a new one. :)

Yup, no damages, just dirty clothes :) I put zip ties for now on the battery.. AOVO said they were working on a solution
