Hey everyone! Thank you for watching the video! :) I mention that I attach the wings in the back, in the video, but what I actually do, is to attach them to the left and right shoulders. (I hope it wasn't too confusing ^^" ) You can attach the wings of course to other places too, like the hips. You can see a smaller pair of wings attached to the head, in the first model. This is the only case, where you don't have to do the Unity steps after, as they are already attached to the part of the body, where you want them to be.

I am here after Vroid finally added support for tails. Can't wait for the support for wings, because I have a Mage, who I can't finish her off without the wings. She will be my first model with wings. I like to get as much done in vroid before I have the native file as a .vroid file before exporting to external software.

That’s a great plan! I really hope they add wings next or another way to import meshes or 3D objects. ☺️

nevermind I'm blind. Thanks for the tutorial!
@LadyAska2 жыл бұрын
You exported it just incorrectly probably :) Try to export it again with "combine hair mesh" option in Vroid export, deactivated. If that still does nothing, check if your hair has bones, as that can also sometimes cause this. Good luck!

@@LadyAska Haha, yeah I scrolled to that part pretty much the moment that I commented. Thank you so much for replying anyhow! Have a good day.

Excuse me Lady, I have a problem in exporting vrm after bone setting in Unity. The model too shiny& glossy in programs other than VSeeFace (you can check your model too in VUP and or Vtuber maker&studio) How can I make it not glossy in app other than VseeFace?
@LadyAska Жыл бұрын
I usually can only guarantee the functionality in VSeeface, for other applications you would have to get in contact with the developers. Best case scenario is, that they check out VSeeFace and update their software accordingly to your request :) (happened already for someone that asked the VMagicmirror devs)

@@LadyAska I did try it in VseeFace and theres no probs, so other than VseeFace they will be glossy.. Thank you so much for answering!

Glad you liked it! Wings may be a bit of work, but they are so much fun. :)

The wings won't rotate in Unity and I can't adjust it. I made sure not to delete mesh or combine meshes when importing. Actually no part of the model will move, not even the head. I can't move anything.

I am sorry that I didn't see your comment earlier. Either something during import gone wrong or you may be in the wrong "mode". The one with the blue background is the one you are looking for. :)

what is the version on vroid thats used kinda curious be a big help im a novice to all of this thanks
@LadyAska2 жыл бұрын
For this tutorial you can use any of the stable versions. The video itself was made with 1.4.0, I believe. But the current version, 1.10.0 should work just as well. :)

I am somewhat lost. Do you use the stable vroid to make the wings or the beta version? Sorry for my English, I'm not good at the language
@LadyAska2 жыл бұрын
Your English is perfectly fine! I am using the stable version in the video, but you could use the Beta version as well. The technique I am showing here, would work in both versions. :)

@@LadyAska Thanks for answering. Reviewing more carefully I understood how you made the wings without the avatar's hair disappearing in the process (it's what happened to me) Thank you very much for the tutorial, I hope now to be able to do the Unity part. I send you a hug from Argentina

but what if im just bad at this and cant afford to buy wings rn
@LadyAska5 ай бұрын
@@S4v4ge_Wraith So far we don't have any default wings sadly. What you could try is to find a premade 3D pair and add this to your model in Unity. (that may sound intimidating at first, but would just be copy/pasting them in the right place and resizing/moving them wherever you want them to be :) ) I should have a tutorial too as to where you could find free 3D assets.
