Vroom in the Night Sky has been voted as the worst Nintendo Switch game of all time according to Metacritic, but today on the channel we are going to find out whether or not it deserves that title and asking the question, is it ACTUALLY that bad? Join me as I play through the game in its entirety, review its mechanics, gameplay, graphics and sound, and uncover the truth, once and for all!
"Vroom in the night sky" is a "Magical Bike Action Game". The features of this game are Fantastic feeling, Speedy feeling, and Realistic feeling using HD Vibration.
There are various night skies in this world, and it is the work of the Magical Girls to collect Stardusts. You become a Magical Girl, "Luna", and ride a Magical Bike to fly around the night sky and collect Stardusts!
The Magical Gate is floating in the night sky. In order to open the gate, you need to collect the necessary number of Keystars floating in the night sky. By collecting Keystars faster and entering the gate, you can get more Stardusts.

Well I have to say I was expecting a lot worse from this one, but it just goes to show how many bad Switch games I've actually played! It definitely wasn't that bad and the developers really did try to fix things with a significant update that added the driving school and more importantly changed *buyed" to "sold out" :-)

It was bad, but considering the garbage these days it's nowhere near as bad!

I'd say its aged like a fine wine, however, it's more likely that there have been a lot of spoilt wines released since 2017.

Yeah. I knew about Vroom in the Night Sky and the Metacritic score it received. Looking bad, there are much worse with Midnight Works being the main culprit. I also know the developer made a couple other titles that no one talks about either but I forgot their name…

I never owned an N64 back in the day so its not one that I ever had the displeasure of playing, though I've seen a lot of gameplay footage and other coverage of it lol. I think Vroom controls better ;)

I remembered everyone panned this game in the first year of the switch's life.

Part of the release window game collection around the middle of 2017 were gems like "I am Setsuna" and one of the first more modern rogue-style games called "Has been Heroes". But also a port of a Wii U game, which to me, with that port, instantly became the worst game on Nintendo Switch, a title it keeps to this day. The game is called "Troll and I". And a game that doesn't deserve it's bad reputation on Nintendo Switch is "Hollow", a sci fi horror shooter. It's a bit silly and in-your-face at times, has some slightly lewd models and textures, but i enjoyed my time with it. AI wasn't smart but was passable for a game on that level. So yeah, that would be my pick for "everyone says it's propper shite, but i'd say it's as mid as your mom".

I played a little bit of troll and I on a stream a long long time ago but it's on my list, as is Hollow which again I played about 30 minutes of and didn't enjoy at all. Expect these two in upcoming videos 😄

Try "Bubble Bubble Ocean" next. 🙂 My "early days of Switch" mistake, one of the first games I bought after I got my Switch, because my daughter likes these "Bubble Something" games. 😀

2 other games that got bad reviews were New frontier days: Founding pioneers and Othello both are also only available digitally just like Vroom in the night sky.
