I have an AirHawk, got it some 7 odd years ago and used it on a long road trip. I don't use it so much anymore, road trips are behind me now. Back in the day ( many days ago) I used a piece of old school lambs wool. You'll enjoy Tassie, everyone should do Tassie, at least once. Ride well. Cheers

Grabbing a 2023 Vulcan next monday as my first bike (cue mid-life crisis :D) and your upgrade vids have been great to find and watch, will make adding things like the relay box, the dc adapter etc so much easier and save me having to pay for fitting. Enjoy the trip down to Tassie, looks to be an epic trip

I had one over 20 years old recently stolen. By a family member not out at large. Lol. Anyway it's a great cushion vs a gel seat. I've spent a few hours more in the saddle daily vs the stock Vrod. Thanks for all you do on video from Down Under. Be safe.

I need to get my license and I'll be riding soon. (I still rode it a few times and you were right about the engine braking, it's pretty strong)

That vulcan seat looks much better than my Z900 seat lol. I ended up getting a bagster seat, but still not great for long rides. I wonder if one of these would work well with my bike. I'm definitely looking into getting an airhawk now for some longer rides. Thanks for the review.

I've got an Airhawk on the 1250 Bandit. It's great. Only need enough air so that your bum hovers over the seat cushion by 5 or 6mm. If you put too much in you move around a bit too much. Feels like you are sliding to the side.

Yeah exactly. It's a bit of a process trying to find the perfect amount of air to put in it. Too much air definitely feels weird. Felt like I was bouncing around a fair bit. I got there in the end though I think. Just need to test it out on a longer trip.

I was trialing one on my Moto Guzzi Griso. I found I put it on when going on longer rides. But only put it on about two hours into the trip.

The OEM extended reach seat is better but still not great. I just got a Lowrider S to replace my Vulcan and I think I'm finally gonna break down and get a Corbin seat for it since I'll be keeping it till the wheels fall off.

I’m unsure of this seat you speak of, and using air to keep your bum comfortably. But as I noticed in past years, and this was on a regular bicycle, a gel seat was always the way to go. Nothings more important than your bum on long outings 😊

Yeah riding long trips is almost impossible if the seat is uncomfortable. Hopefully the airhawk does the trick. 🤞🤞🤞

It's been great! I've just come back from a month away... 7000km round trip and it was awesome. Still not as comfy as sitting on a couch, but definitely helps reduce the pain which means you can ride for longer.
