At first, it felt really strange to have a battle with this song in the background, because I have never heard such an epic track in a pokemon game! It took me quite a few max revives, because I didn't have the right pokemon with me XD Thank you for extending the song!

this is easily one of my favorite pokemon themes ever... b/w and b/w 2 are really the first games where the soundtracks are more complex. I can't wait to see what these guys do with the 3DS's (wayyy better) sound quality

Pro-Tip: Colress seems to be a fan of Psychic, Steel, and Electric types. Therefore it's safe to assume that anything from the Krookodile family with good STAB moves to compliment its typing (Dark/Ground) will just ruin his day. Though do be weary in the final battle against him in which he has a Klingklang holding an Air Balloon and Wash Rotom with Levitate. Use a Fighting type for the former and a Grass type for the latter. Glad I could help. :)

I absolutely hated how they made Colress in the anime. They made into a psychotic maniac who cared nothing about the well-being of people or Pokemon, when he's SUPPOSED to be a curious scientist whose only interest is bringing out the best of Pokemon. The Team Plasma episodes of the Pokemon anime were painful to watch after playing the games...

The anime, imo, showcased what neutral alignment looks like, an idealistic man who through whatever means wants to know the truth of a matter, an amoral jerk. In game, he s working for the bad guys knowingly.

I'm ganna disagree with you here... Colress only cared about SCIENCE! What he wanted first and foremost is drawing out power of pokemon for sake of knowledge... everything ( including Pokemon themselves) comes second.

Best Evil Boss in the series. Gen 5 had the narrative so right, was dissapointed with the lack of story in Gen 6. Oh here's guy with red hair, looks like team flare's. Hints at making the world beautiful, boom holoclip saying he is killing everyone except team flare. Much prefer a giant castle erupting out from under the Pokemon League or a flying ship that will freeze the region over. The previous teams had better goals. At least we will have a proper evil team/s in the RSE remakes.

yeah even with out it the games still way easy. trainers only use 3 pokemon max the elite 4 only 4 pokemon a piece no challenging rematches the games just a little to easy for my taste. its like white 2's easy mode you unlock

Definitely, and I'm not a big fan of Ruby and Saphire either and they'll be the next remakes. Those games are too easy also. Wish they'd skip RSE and remake Diamond and Pearl with the story of Platinum.

If I remember right, in X and Y, there's a guy near the stones in one of the cities that mentions someone named Colress spoke to him. Hopefully he'll appear in a future event or something, I don't know. They reference other people from previous games like Blue from the original game, so it has to be there for a reason. Otherwise Nintendo is just snickering at us as we try to make out what it could be.

Colress was epic. He was the gray in the black and white of this game; N wanting to separate Pokemon and humans, Ghetsis wanting to expose Pokemon's true power through force, and you unleashing Pokemon's true potential through trust and friendship, while Colress doesn't care how it's done as long as he gets results. He was never on any side; he experiments on which side is best. I love how pissed Ghetsis was when Colress switched sides after finally finding out the true answer to his experiment.

The mistake was not originally Serebii's. The original spelling as "Corless" came from hotlinking a picture of him from the official website which had an address that was something like "corless.jpg" This is what triggered many to believe that was how it was spelled until days later a trailer came out revealing that it was actually going to be spelled "Colress".

Colress will always be remember as the only B2W2 trainer (outside of PWT) doesn't get humiliated by a Moxie Krookodile. That Rotom is scary. To be fair once you take out the Rotom, is free win with a Krookodile

If you notice that Colress hair style is the same as N's necklass. That being said it is almost like N is black and Colress is white. So basiclly the whole black and white series goes back and forth about the white and black color.

Now this should have been the final boss of the game. Reverse the order, have Ghetsis be the boss you expect to be the final challenge, THEN have Colress step onto the scene to challenge you. For me, this battle, along with this beautiful theme, should have been saved for last.

Go to Route 18 and follow the currents that originally lead you to P2 Laboratory, the Team Plasma Frigate will be there. Go on the Frigate and go to Colress's room and battle him... Hi Pokemon are either level 60's or 70's. After the battle in there, you naturally wait 'til the next day to battle him again, he will be on the nothern deck leading up from the stairs at the Frigate's front. I hope this helps... :)

I would actually say the biggest thing you are missing is a decent Water-type. At that stage of the game, you can get access to Staryu, and use a Water Stone to immediately evolve it into Starmie. From there, dive into your TM Bag, give it Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Psychic and Surf. That right there will serve you very well, especially when it comes to filling in the missing gaps in your team, and can also stand tall and strong along side the rest of your team.

Well, I recognized a pattern with his pokemon. After Pikachu, he switched to Espeon. Type advantages really helped. So did the Red Gyarados. Which ironically, was my HM Slave.

I always figured if he had an "Ultimate Team" it would go something like: Magnezone Magneton (Holding Eviolite ofc) Rotom (Washer form) Porygon-Z (Maybe as a Life Orb holder) Metagross Genesect (Expert Belt or maybe that Fire-type reducing Berry) But, I do agree, and I think if Porygon was in the Main Game at all he would definitely have it on his team. Would probably suit better than say Klinklang or Beheeyem.
