On BW2's challenge mode, they'd have all their games' respective legendaries, would all know how to set up entry hazards (stealth rocks, spikes, toxic spikes) like a competitive battler, would each carry 2 Full Restores and 1 Max Revive, and would actually use boosting moves to try to set up on you. Now that, without having the luxury of a pokecenter, would be a hell of a challenge.

lolwut I think if you're that dedicated to pokemon, you would own FireRed and/or LeafGreen. If not, then it wouldn't really matter wither or not your knew the characters. And even if they had never heard of them before (which I highly doubt), they were in the World Tournament...

Yeah, but what, if you're twelve then, your first game would have been... what, either Crystal, or one of the Gen3 games, likely fire red/leaf green? Ugh. The point I was trying to make is that kids who grew up with Black or White wouldn't know them that well. And when they get to the PWT in Black 2 when they get it, they fight all the past leaders. And if they do end up getting HG/SS, they will fight red and be like "Oh, I fought you at the PWT" and not "Oh, hey I played as you in red."

Of course. I only omitted the magician goat due to character limit. Add to that Wobbuffet: you've triggered my trap Pokemon; Metagross: strong attack and resilient; Sigilyph: great ability and interesting movepool; Bronzong: excellent defensive typing and good supporter. Some banned legendaries are also Psychic types, like Mewtwo, Lugia and Deoxys.

I personally think, if for some reason Nintendo made a Pokemon RPG, this theme should be used for the battle with Lance. The HG/SS remix fits Red's battle more (you're on the summit of a mountain, so of course the smooth, ominous piano in the beginning fits)

It's funny how fast Gary/Green/Blue managed to become the Kanto champion. Like, Red starts his journey at the same time as Gary, and he becomes the champion that fast and easily.

Oooohhh yes they do! In FR/LG you play as red and you battle lance in the elite 4 and where blue is the champ. But in the manga it was yellow that had a battle with lance.

Hydro Pump is badass, I agree. But both moves are Water type and use the Special Attack stat to calculate damage. If you want to make accuracy drops, then use Mud-Slap, which is 100% accurate, or even better, use something that doesn't rely on the luck of your opponent. You could also try to go physical or special if you want to hit harder. Adamant or Modest nature, for instance. For physical, try using Waterfall instead and add Stone Edge. For special, use Ice Beam and Focus Blast, keeping EQ.

PWT is Pokémon World Tournament. as for the champions. Blue is the Kanto Champion Lance is the Johto Champion Wallace is the Hoenn Champion Cynthia is the Sinnoh Champion Alder was the former Unova Champion Iris is the current Unova Champion and lastly Red is the World Champion, above them all

Mewtwo is also incredibly powerful. He just lacks the defenses that makes him a Glass Cannon type. Also, Deoxys, able to turn into any forms to enhance his attack, defense, or speed.

I have 6 teams across all my games; they are: Pt- Empoleon. Pearl- Empoleon(Don't Judge!). SS- Cyndaquil, Pikachu-Colored Pichu, & Spiky Pichu (Didn't evolve him) W- Oshawott, Lucario, Togekiss, PorygonZ (seein' that a lot!), Gallade, Gardevoir, & Dragonite. B2- Tepig (did NOT evolve), Stoutland, Liepard, Azumarill, Lucario, & Sunflora Emerald- Combusken, Shedinja, Ninjask, Beautifly, Dustox, Lombre, Sableye, &Aron (Not Done With Main Adventure yet...(3 Badges...)) Tough choice. I did have a main but I lost him. My top 3 are my walrein, crobat, and salamence, but if I had to choose, it would be crobat. He was one of my first ever pokemon. Transferred him to my pearl, then to heartgold, then white, and now my white 2. Needless to say he was with me through the generations.

also, you take that back about Feraligatr, Feraligatr gets epic coverage for in-game, great HMs, good damage (and lols on the final Rocket Admin's Houndoom,) gets a 4x effective move against Lance's Dragonites, and he's a freaking gator. /rant of an annoyed Feraligatr user.

well, for the quick claw, you have to rely on luck. And, usually you'd be more focused on doing damage than lowering stats, unless Infernape gets hit with intimidate. Also, if said infernape packs Overheat, it will do massive damage, if not KO it outright( since Torterra's Special Def isn't so high).

I don't have Ice Fang on my Luxray - I needed the room for Superpower and Crunch. Also, it knows Wild Charge, not Thunder Fang, but Wild Charge was first introduced in Gen 5. Skydrop is banned in the metagame due to a game-breaking glitch when combined with Gravity. Also, my Aerodactyl is Choiced. I can only chose one move each time I send it out although it gets a major boost to either its attack or speed (depending on what item I give it). Of course I could just send in my Hydreigon...

Because Meganium's only notable function in competitive gameplay is the role of bulky cleric. It's attacking stats are mediocre, it's not very fast, and its movepool is devoid of anything but Sunny Day tactics that Chlorophyll users can abuse better. Mine holds a Big Root and knows Giga Drain, Toxic, Aroma Therapy, and Synthesis. It's not powerful, but it isn't supposed to be. It's only purpose is to wall to a degree and heal the team from untimely status ailments.
