Awesome cars. Ive got a VR and a VS. The VS is chipped and has SS suspension in it. Like Driving a Race car... Well I guess they were aye...The V8s of course..Lots of fun. Both Berlinas too.Cheers for the vid man. Holden.. Lets Go There...

Hi Darryl, thanks for the feedback, I also have a VR & VS and love them both.. some of these beasts can sound like a race car 🙂, live on the Iron Lion.. for me VN to VS are so much fun, especially the V8… I love myself a Berlina, VN Berlina was my first car.. I also have a VR brochure series as well as VN & VP on the channel.. be good to have a Berlina on the channel someday soon.

I have an April 95 VS Executive 5.0 manual. It was originally ordered and owned by a factory worker. Maranello Red, dual airbags, central locking, electric mirrors, manual windows, ABS, LSD, 80l fuel tank, 15 x 7jj steel wheels, Executive wheel covers, standard suspension, SS interior.

Sounds like a great combo like a BT1, bet you love it. The factory worker prob wanted all those specs. How rare in Red.. I used to know someone who had a BT1 brand new because Holden made a mistake with NSW orders so they had a surplus and sold them direct to the public..

@GTZ05 it was well known that factory worker cars got special treatment down the line including a few runs through the paint shop. It's paint is still in excellent condition which says a lot given how badly red copes with our weather and sun. I was a bit sceptical about the car at first, but I had Holden run its VIN and its fair dinkum. Back in the day I owned a VN BT1 1990-94 and bought a VR SS manual new in Aug 94. The VS runs beautifully and is a pleasure to drive.

Nice, I have a 1998 VS SS Ute, beautiful condition. I’ve had a few VP VS over the years but I won’t be letting my Ute go. I’d like to see a video on the HSV and SS Utes, thanks

I remember when I saw my first one when they were new, I thought they did a good job giving the VS a new look, all in VT Colours, no more side moulds in red and was in line with the VT SS.. I wouldn’t let it go either, hold onto it..

During the run of VS series 2 Holden released the ‘Esteem’ which was simply an exec with power windows & air bag. The two stage key unlock could be deactivated.

Yeah it came out in March 1997, had mags also, guess the extras helped sell a few more cars, I have the advertisement for it towards the end of the video..

@@SheepyYeen def based on it going back to the late 80s when they rolled out the VN, but in VR VS looks less like them than the VN did.

Body shell was based on it ... Widened strengthened with completely different drive chains

I had the clone to the VS Calais being a VS lexcen newport which at the time was more better equipped being that it had leather as standard fitment

Very nice, the Lexens always had a few extra bits standard, even from the VN Model… hope it served you well, you never see them anymore…

Beautiful cars My father had a white VS s pac as a company car back in 95. Rego was NLE771 in Victoria. Let me know if anyone comes across it!!
