Yeah, it sucks. Tabi was given to Cougar because Homskiy felt he needed a break from this community and Cougar was someone he felt he could trust. Due to this drama, Cougar canceled the mod as he would probably get no more developers to join on working on his mod due to what happened. Homskiy asked nicely to have Cougar give ownership back and he said no; but due to discord not constituting as legal ownership Homskiy in a doc detailed that Tabi is his and Cougar cannot claim he has ownership. Funny enough MaskedChris used to work on this and helped hire some of the dev team, which (sheesh), but RecD was even helping out and making a with lyrics only waiting till Human Tabi was revealed to release but because of all of this it seems that with lyrics is never to be. BTW RecD's with lyrics video was not going to include Cougar as Tabi due to RecD already had done digging before choosing if Tabi should be voiced by him for authenticities sake. Because people like him were warning Cougar about his actions and him not listening is why this mess came to be. I'm pretty sure for the most part this is a Hypno situation where people already were practically at the finish line, but I think the coding aspect was the only thing that came as the last hurdle.

Bro I’m so happy, Cougar also narrates on the Reddit narration channel EzPz, he’s pulled out the Tabi voice from time to time on there and basically said that “yeah I make NSFW comic dubs, what about it?” He neglects to talk about the concerns and even bashed Disney when Elemental wasn’t “a good movie and deserved to burn”. Like yeah it’s not the best but you’re not one to talk. (They know that other medias gotten that same treatment, but the smiling critters one was their last straw) > team confronts Cougar for that, also he broke a promise to tone ito down. > Cougar states that it's "aged up" (part of the blame goes to HeartGreenY, and When_souls for this) even though those characters are dead kids/cub coded. > Because of him breaking the promise, and "his artists'" continuing to produce those weird thumbnails, even RecD kicked Cougar out of FNF with Lyrics project. > it was revealed that TheMaskedChris had chose the dev team, but didn't tell Cougar of their age, and Cougar didn't even ask about it too. (Chris is kicked outta the mod btw) > Mamon and Ascenti4 even mentioned that Cougar should've age restricted his videos, but he didn't. > Cougar offered Ascenti4 some payment "which Ascenti4 didn't find it necessary,but he optionally wanted both payment AND help with modding since he's overworking himself for it. I know the fandom is sad an OG mod got cancelled but hear me out..... I'm kinda relieved this happened. Why? Because the current story of Tabi REALLY could have TANKED GF's reputation in the eyes of the FNF fandom. Why is that bad? Because FNF's ENTIRE PREMISE hinges on BF's trying to win GF's heart. If Girlfriend is seen as a bad person, players may lose interest in playing through the game's story. They'll think that BF deserves better. I mean, remember how Jax from Digital Circus BRUTALLY FELL in popularity after Episode 2??? I don't doubt the Tabi mod would have been good if completed, but it could've had a ripple effect that affected the community and game as a whole. I hope I don't offend anyone with this statement. (Note: I heard about the creator's reasons for creating Tabi's backstory and my heart goes out to them. I hope that they might be able to write the story they wanted with a different oc).
