Based on military spending alone the Russian military is about number 6 to 8 in the world. As we see in the Ukraine war, except as a deterrent nukes are quite useless. In conventional arms comparing Russia to America is like comparing a mosquito to an elephant. Comparing the Russian military to NATO is like comparing a mosquito to an even bigger elephant.

I realize this video is 4 months old. However, exactly where are those 12,000+ Russian tanks? Recent parades in Red Square have only a few tanks these days. Every available tank has been sent to the Ukraine theater. Where on earth are those 12,000+ tanks? With 12,000+ tanks, Russia should have reached the English Channel months ago. The UK is ranked higher than France? Again, I realize this video is 4 months old. About a month ago, the papers in the UK got their hands on a new US military assessment of the UK's military. It was not pretty. The US no longer considered the UK to have a first-class military organization. In fact, the US assessment went on to say that we were unsure if the UK even had a second-class military organization. Again, this news story came out after this video. @ananas2.042 I only believe by numbers. The quality of the military varies so wildly between slots. It's ridiculous that e.g. North Korea is in the ranking. They're still using equipment that's 50 years old.

As far as I'm concerned they can have 10 million soldiers, that doesn't help them one bit if their own troops can't be fed and they, even worse than the Russians, run into machine gun fire en masse. I'll tell you 10 million practically pawns with AK's is nothing compared to extremely well equipped and trained smaller armies. The Belgian army could also defend itself against North Korea. This country is not only socially stuck in another millennium
