This easy and incomparable dish takes just 20 minutes to cook and it’s worth trying. Asian-style teriyaki chicken is a perfect meal for a quick weekday dinner and more over no need to buy a teriyaki sauce especially for the recipe cooking, just follow it.

Ingredients:
• chicken fillet - 600 g
• long grain rice - 250 g
• ginger - 10 g
• garlic - 4 cloves
• classic soy sauce - 50 ml
• vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
• rice vinegar - 1 tbsp
• corn starch - 1 tbsp
• ground black pepper - ½ tsp
• red chili flakes - ⅓ tsp
• water - 600 ml
• ground cinnamon - ⅓ tsp
• salt - ½ tsp
• sugar - 3 tbsp
You will need:
• stockpot
• pan
• bowl
• carving board
Preparation:
1. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces of 4-5 cm size, mince the garlic and ginger.
2. Into a stockpot lay out 250 g of thoroughly washed rice, add 500 ml of water, stir, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid and boil for 15 minutes. Switch the heat off and leave the rice with the lid covered for 5 minutes. Then add the rice vinegar with 1 tsp of sugar and ½ tsp of salt melted in it, incorporate well with the rice. The side dish is ready.
3. Heat a pan over high heat with 2 tbsp of vegetable oil, add the chicken pieces and fry stirring over high heat for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
4. Reduce the heat to medium, add the ginger and garlic into the pan, stir well and fry for a minute more.
5. Add then the ground black pepper, chili flakes, ground cinnamon, 2½ tbsp of sugar and soy sauce. Melt the corn starch in 100 ml of water and pour into the pan, bring to a boil stirring, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes more.
6. When serving sprinkle your teriyaki chicken with sesame seeds, green onion and chili pepper rings. Serve it hot with the prepared rice side dish.
