Yay vacation!! I love Harry Potter!!! I cannot wait until my son is old enough for us to read them together! Sounds like a blast! I totally understand what you mean about size perception. I see a person stuggling whose size is not nearly as big as I was and it is difficult to wrap my head around the fact that I was bigger than them. Not in a looking down on them way, but in a self-reflective way that I really had damaged my body and the struggles I experienced were such a burden to carry. So thankful every day for my new life and the wonderful things ahead ❤ Love your face, girl!

Reading the books with your son will be so magical! And yeah, it's absolutely not a reflection on the other person when I take note of their size, just really strange to realize these people that are so big are actually smaller than I was, and it's crazy thinking that I lived like that for so long.

It's funny how our perspective of our weight and others' weights are skewed. I remember in 2016 seeing a college friend, thinking she was huge since I saw her last. She used to be a large to xl. We took a picture to send it to a mutual friend. It was shocking to see how much bigger I WAS than her; especially after thinking she was huge. That was eye opening. It's crazy thinking about perspective on things before and after surgery. Have a great week and stay warm. Happy Valentine's day 💟

Congrats! We are a year apart - I'm 28 and got my surgery on 1/22/2019. I just did my 3-week post-op post. Super cool to watch your journey. Definitely subscribing ;)

Thanks so much! If you're an HP fan, I definitely would say that both parks are a must-see at least once in your life. They were both really magical. :D

Sounds like you had a great vacation. When you did your stats I expected you to gain and excited for you that you lost instead. That is an awesome thing to do. It is hard to maintain or lose when you are out of your routine. I've got a ministry weekend coming up in March that is worrying me. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks so much! I was also expecting a bit of a gain, so the loss was a very welcome surprise!

You're doing great 😊 l wanted to tell you that Robert Irvine's Fitcrunch bars are on sale at Costco until March 3rd. ($5 off)I tried them and love them. I think I will have those now instead of my expensive Nutrasystem bars that I get at Walmart. I had sugar last night and today when things went wrong ( lost my license at the bank drive through) I had a major meltdown exacerbated by sugar. I should know better by now.🙄 Glad you're doing well. I'm hoping to go to Florida at the end of March, my first plane trip in 21 years! Looking forward to warm weather after the last snowstorm here. I'm happy you had a nice trip and are doing well. 🌞☺️💟

I’m looking forward to theme parks again, since I too have been kicked off of them in front of everyone! HP at Universal is first on my list! I appreciate you sharing your perspective about how your weight has changed and also being sensitive to your sisters feelings!

Sorry about the family comments but it is good that you both mentally prepared for them. But you were beautiful at your beginning weight (I've been binge watching videos). I lived in Florida most of my life and I now live in New Mexico (four corners area). I love being so close to Colorado. Busch Gardens does have bigger seats. However, Disney has some that I could not fit in the past. I am looking forward to going back after surgery and subsequent weight loss and being able to go on a ride that I had to take the walk of shame because I didn't fit. Also, walk by the "try this seat" kiosk ahead of time before you wait in line for an hour. You definitely went the right time of the year. The heat and humidity during the summer would have been awful, especially, for your sister.

This is totally me right now! I have no full body photos prior to surgery. Only face photos at my good angle 😂

Right? All my before face pics look as small as my current pics because I was WORKING those angles, LOL!

For the first 6 months after my surgery I had a really hard time seeing any weight loss in the mirror, even though I'm a data driven person and saw the numbers on the scale going down. Like I was freaking out. And, I think some of that was not realizing how big I was starting out.
@michellevilleneuve26585 жыл бұрын
Also, you look really skinny in the full body shots, you are a couple inches taller than me, but I can't wait to get to that point, I am a few months behind.

Thank you so much! And yeah, I definitely think not fully realizing our starting size can make it harder to see the progress, especially at the beginning!
