what a wonder, you work with such neatness (in its original meaning and the more modern meaning too) I would be so tempted to get in there with my fingers and mess everything up! Huge thanks for this , many useful tips and pointers. The trays are a delight.

The beginning when you talked about getting your slabs square was great advice. Maybe you could make a shorter video on just that so we can find it again later when we're looking for just that. I've watched lots of your videos before and couldn't remember which video I had seen this part on and had to go back and search through all the watched ones again just to find it. Thanks for sharing your awesome advice, work, knowledge, and space with us.

Interesting. I turn the slab after my 1st roll and go down a 1/4 inch or so at a time, and turn 90 degrees when needed. Same with rolling a round slab. I use old soft sheet material (cloth) instead of paper, therefore no slight creases from paper. I rock my hands when making coils. It prevents the coil from not being round. One can also use the scrap strips, no rolling needed. Use the strip cut sides as top and bottom of the "coil" so one has the same height all the way around the piece. Thank you so much.

Love watching your videos. You are such a hoot, and so entertaining and educational. Thanks for sharing your gift. Question. How much slab work do you do compared to throwing and which is your preferred method. You do superb work either way.❤
@Vsmithpots3 ай бұрын
I mostly throw but we do a lot of slab work too.

If you put the end of the coil up on the table you could get another foot of coil, just an idea
@rondacorkhill16543 ай бұрын
UGH!!! Why didn’t I think of that???!!! Lack of imagination, that’s why. I’ve been cutting halfway down and spending all the time trying to create a long slab. Thanks for pointing out the error of my ways. Smarter not harder, right???😂😂😂

Hmmm, make a coil foot without the tray, fire it and you can use it to drape.

Why does the food not flatten? I would think it would have to dry a bit
@Vsmithpots3 ай бұрын
If you let it dry longer the rim will stay raised better.

That’s bad about uline paper breaking down, it was a good way to recycle it 😂
