Actually, the curvature seen in this video is from the wide angle lens (look inside the cabin how it's evenly distorted). At this altitude, I'm pretty sure the pilots saw the horizon as a possibly only slightly curved line, not what we're seeing through the lens. You have to go way higher to grab the sphere with your eyes. That must be a sight to behold!

If RyanAir or Spirit Airlines decides to make an low cost carrier aircraft that goes to space, this is how they would do it: 1) Seat width would be maxed out at 9 inches wide, to cram as much people into the spaceship as possible. 2) There is a damn good chance your spaceflight will be canceled with no refunds issued. Also no support services will be available either. 3) The plane/spaceship may not be able to make it back down to Earth in one piece. 4) They will still have "Buy on Board" since food and drinks are not included in the final ticket price.

However given my government has been at it for 50 years I would hope they have done more, however stagnant it went after the moon missions. Good thing most of us expect more for our dollars than you guys or we would be content spinning our wheels and going nowhere.
