This is a disco famous late 60's to early 70's. I'm now 71 and still dance these on FilAm party and Social gatherings. The other dance is called swing a never ending fad or craze

This is the way to do it. With the girl in miniskirt and high heels. And the guy at least wearing long sleeves. Very classy.

Terminology difference: "Swing" in Pinas is what we call here in the US as "Hustle". The dance "Swing" in the US was influenced by jazz music of the 1920s like Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop, Jive, Jitterbug, etc. After WW2, the American soldiers who stayed in the Philippines during reconstruction era introduced Swing dances like Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop and Jitterbug in bars and parties. The Pinoys called it Boogie......not Swing. Dances during the "Rock and Roll" era were Swing dances basically boogie-woogie or jitterbug or combination of both. When Hustle (disco) became popular in the 70s, I don't know why Pinoys called the dance "Swing", not "Hustle". I was already out of the country. So, I'm confused when I am in the Pinas and somebody say, "Let's dance Swing and I am on the floor ready to dance the East Coast Swing which is Boogie....and everybody is disco...ing.

The left arm of the lady needs to have more dance styling. Most of the time it is just hanging there. If this guy is a DI, please teach her to do some arm styling and dance spikes especially after a turn.
