I started out with the 300…about 2 weeks ago and have applied it about 3 times. Skin was noticeably smoother and good for shrinking pores. I know that it is getting rave reviews on a lot of channels which focus on Korean skincare.

I’ve had the same experience..noticeably softer, smoother skin that’s a bit less red-looking after using the 300 for only a week. I have sensitive skin, but this product hasn’t caused me any problems. And it doesn’t hurt. To just tingles a bit

I been using it for two weeks then stop for two weeks. So about 30 days I had it on my face. I don’t like the sensation but I do notice my skin texture is smoother.but I still haven’t seen redness improvement

I've heard of people getting a foreign body granuloma or infections from spicules. I received this in the Stylevana advent calendar. I'm not sure if I want to put this on my face. It does sound very interesting, please keep us updated on this one! Many blessings!💖💖💖

I worry about what this stuff does once inside the skin. Does it dissolve or is it just going to keep building up? I can imagine it like millions of tiny little splinters. Don't think I'll be trying it any time soon. As I am peri menopausal, I'm trying out Emepelle at the moment. One month in. I have noticed a slight difference, especially in the texture of my skin. Acne pot marks are disappearing. The only trouble with Emepelle is that it is so expensive. So, It better work!

I use 100 every night, and then one night a week, I will use the 300 (I chose Saturdays). I started on 50 shot, and it relieved some of the anxiety, but honestly, I was fine.

Cosmedix deep sea peel is a very potent peel made with deep sea sponge spicules , it’s a very painful peel but mighty transformative

In my country we use it pure powder for arthritis. It is warming and anti inflammatory. We also use it for tough hyperpigmentation. Be very careful if you are rosacea prone.

Actually there's 5 strengths. 50, 100, 300, 700, 1000. The literature also has a calendar suggesting 100 Mon-Sun. Or 300 Mon, Thurs, Sun. Since September I've been using 100 Mon-Sat and 700 on Sunday. No where does it state you have finish a bottle before moving up to the next strength.

You don't have to finish it but what else are you going to do with it? You could give away half a tube or just toss it but either way you are buying multiple tubes. I guess you could start with a higher dose.

I wonder if it’s safe for longterm use. If it gets so deeply into the skin, can it get into the bloodstream?…Block capillaries or cause other problems?

Does the stuff dissolve?? Sounds like rubbing glass into your skin. Yeah it will be smoother but is it cutting up your skin layer and can it dissolve or will the little micro needles get stuck in your skin and cause your skin to try to expel them like a splinter??? Sounds a disaster.

100 , 300 , 700 the 700 is supposed to only be for occasional use like every other week and 300 once a week , 100 daily. I would use it a few times a week and use the revive serum after or the CP and then a moisturizer and that's it . Suposedly their is amazing results and it's supposed to be safer to microneedling . I heard the Growth factors are great after because u get better results with spicules or microneedling like all the good stuff that I don't get from just applying the Growth factor on top of the skin . But we will see 😂 also heard it's great for acne and dark spots .

It looks like an interesting product, a youtuber that I follow, called Alice in the rabbithole, showed a scientific study in which a group of people were put these microsponges in a serum with epidemic growth factors and the group with the microsponges had better result than the control group, so I would consider buying it if it gives good results and then I would apply a serum with peptides or a depigmentant to see if I have better results. I have been using it for awhile. It does sting, but I apply a hydrating toner or essence, or you can use a sheet mask to help with stinging. I don't apply alot on my face because of stinging. I love using it, but everyone has a different experience. I love Alice in the rabbit hole also.

I never go up to the 300 unless I'm really comfortable going up. Don't feel you have to go up to 700.

Yes, they don't market it as you need to move up either. It's just different strengths and different options. I'm with you, I would never move up unless I'm comfortable.

I saw my dermatologist today. He said that he tells his patients not to use this, he’s already had a lot of questions about what happens to the spicules. He says they are made of silica and will stay in the skin for decades, possibly for life. With continued use, they will most likely accumulate into small lumps in the facial skin, which will be felt before they can be seen. Eventually, they will have to be surgically extracted, otherwise they will deform your face. The longer and more frequently this is used, especially at the stronger strengths, the worse of more numerous the bumps will be. He says, “best not to even start this product, but if you have, cut your losses and discontinue”. He was shocked that this was ever cleared by the USFDA, because they have pulled cosmetic products off the shelves for less!

@@vetsai8199 That is so scary. I ordered the 100, and 300 after watching Beauty Within video on it. Then i watched Dr. Dray's video on it and got scared. I tried to cancel my order but it was already shipped out. after receiving the products, i used the 100 once and i have been feeling scared about it. I don't understand why others aren't concern about putting it on every night.

i watched the spicules video from Dr Dray... the tech seems novel but it seems too early for the potential health risks to be evaluated. for now it looks more like a fad than a future star ingredient. and if I were to try it I would prolly take weeks to patch test on my arm before it gets anywhere near my face 😂

That's a Hard NO. I am guessing those spicules are irregular in size and shape and maybe causing damage to the surface of the skin, since the penetration is not controlled...a lot like those old St. Ive's apricot scrub masks that would irritate the hell out of your face. I don't think it's worth it. There are better options. I also don't like the idea of leaving the spicules on your face and overnight. It all seems very wrong, dangerous and unnecessary from beginning to end.

Spicules help deliver product deeper into the skin, but there are other ways to do this like using a vibrating face massager, skincare infusion device, face steamer, etc.

Very good points, I think you are all right. It's a nice penetration enhancer but most products include ingredients to help facilitate this. Although I really do like the tiam cream.
