I am sooooo here for a Panthenol video🥰I'm a serious panthenol junkie😆The Tiam Vita B5 toner is my still HG toner💗💗💗💗💗I'm so glad you got back to it! Nothing gives better hydration/slip on my aged skin😁It provides such an amazing base for serum application. All my serums go on seamlessly and evenly when I use the Tiam. By far, my favorite toner, and it's cheap, so I can layer, layer, layer without feeling guilty. I don't think I'd have ever noticed it, except for one of your favorite toner essences from a few years ago, so thank you, from the bottom of my heart💗🙏💗

Hi Kelly my top ingredients are: Azelaic acid - the most transformative ingredient for my skin Cica - super soothing Retinaldehyde- tretinoin was a bit too much for me, but retinaldehyde works Regular year round spf - made a big difference Shea butter- my skin needs maximum moisture and shea butter is deeply moisturising and gentle on my skin (I like it as a main ingredient and alone). I should say my skin type and concerns to explain my choices. I have chronically super dry skin with rosacea and eczema, plus I am fully menopausal. My skin is chronically dry and dehydrated due to an impaired barrier re the rosacea and eczema, plus I produce no sebum of my own anymore ie dry dry dry and super thirsty. I need very hydrating products and I need oils/butters to feed the dryness with an occlusive on top to seal everything in😂. Best wishes x Ps yes to a second part and a panthenol video (I really like the Ti’am toner featured). X

Azelaic Acid is one of my favourites, along with Tret. I use 15% AA twice a day, every day and it's helped my rosacea and occasional hormonal acne immensely. I also find that I don't need to exfoliate anywhere near as much when I pair it with urea at 10-15% and Tret at 0.025% every night. I shave my face 1x month and with AA, urea and Tret, I don't need any further exfoliation and my texture is miles better after doing this for a year. The brightness AA brings to even out tone is also slept on a little! (I live in Aus where 15% and 20% is available OTC.)

Yes please to both Part 2 and a panthenol video! Panthenol definitely helped me (along with ceramides) repair and strengthen my barrier. It’s the primary reason I bought Torriden Dive In, which is still the only HA serum I would use (I believe it has 5% panthenol). Also love ferments, green tea, ginseng, peptides and growth factors ❤
@patriciaquintela8999 ай бұрын
Transformative are niacinamide (specially Paula’s choice booster 10%). Retinoids are the Bomb 💣. I did not see benefits from azaleic acid and my skin hates salicylic acid (even in cleansers). I like copper peptides and peptides and ascorbic acid but they take longer to act. My skin really loves niacinamide and retinoides. Everything fermented and ceramides are must for me also.

Yes to a panthenol video! It’s a little tricky to find a panthenol moisturizer for combo or combo-dry skin. Most products I’ve found gear towards oily-combo or dry skin. Also, it would be great if you could break down the D-/DL-/L-panthenol of the said percentages of recommended products and what to expect from that.

Fermented ingredients, Urea, Tretinoin, Ginseng, and most recently Glutathione! I'm really loving the Numbuz:n #5 Vitamin Concentrated Serum. I have to add a sixth, glycolic acid. After a couple of years using Tretinoin (and being closer to 40 than 30) I really needed an exfoliating ingredient.

Love your videos, thank you! Would love a part 2! If I had to pick… Azelaic acid, heartleaf extract, panthenol, retinol, and colloidal oats. No particular order, sunscreen is a non negotiable so it doesn’t count in the top 5, lol. I really like lactic acid (not in as many products, but I’m trying to find an alternative since I’m trying to go vegan), benzoyl peroxide (just the staining and texture drawbacks), and centella are top picks too. I like ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids too, but again, basically nonnegotiables and in a lot of products already… I’ve also noticed salicylic acid and seabuckthorne in a lot of my products, but I’m not as well versed on it and it may just be a coincidence

Vitamin A: Started with Differin (approx. 4 years). Recently moved to Retin A. Both have really helped with my acne, definitely more than any other ingredient I've tried. Also, I've found it much less irritating than a lot of BHAs and other "acne" treatments. Urea: HUGE results for skin texture. I don't use AHAs, and even many PHAs are too irritating. Urea has made my skin super smooth. It's also helped with surface congestion, which was one of the main drivers of my acne (jawline especially). Alpha Arbutin: Gentle enough to use year round (I can only tolerate niacinamide in yhe summer). Used to use Hada Labo brightening line, but they switch the active. Currently using The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin and it's working nicely.

Azelaic Acid thins skin... I used the Ordinary One for months, and in the beginning I loved it, and how it looked on my skin, then it started to cause breakouts like all their products. I've also used both Retinol. Too strong, and my skin can't handle vitamin C or chemical exfoliants in general either. Too sensitive. Such a bummer.

Hi Kelly over last year I’d say peptides and antioxidants and lots of them have made the biggest difference to my skin. For a panthenol hit I like to pair Etude House soon Jung b5 relief toner with the T’iam B5 toner so good together. I also bought myself for Christmas SK=II got a £100 off a 230ml bottle and can’t wait to open it, I try not to have more than 6 bottle of essence/ toners opened at one time, having extremely dry/ eczema skin I go through a lot. One last thing I have a love hate relationship with retinoids, my skin just doesn’t like them and I’m not sure using it once a week brings any benefits and when I’m not using them I can definitely tolerate acids more, which I can’t use at all on retinoids 🤷♀️
